He is clearly greater than everyone on the list, by a great deal.

We ranked Hayate. He only had a sword. 313

Well, it was enough to cause Old Lady Puppet Butt Flaps to freak the eff out, entirely, when she saw Kakashi. He's obviously powerful.

He was compared to the Sanin: he's obviously powerful.

He's between A+ and S. I think we can settle on S- to be conservative.

All we know about Sakumo is he had a sword... Is said sword's abilities even known?

We know Sakumo was compared to the Sanin back in the day. This is no different than Izuna, who was compared to Madara back in the day. 😮

Granted, if Sakumo got revived, we would logically wait to see his abilities first. But, as I don't think that is likely, we probably need to rank him now. Excluding him when we've got the whole "As good as the Sanin" thing would just annoy me.

Edit: As for his sword, it could apparently emit white chakra.

Ah, well if you want to go about trying to change Q99's mind about how the list is made, you have to take that up with Q99. Sakumo is merely a suggestion for the list as is. ^^

Hm... one problem with Kakashi's dad is we don't know at what point he was compared to the sannin.

I mean, Izumi was Madara's equal when Madara had the Mangekyo and was clan leader. That's more than we know on him.

Well Naruto chapter is out and stuff.

It's cute that Kakashi and Gai think they can do something, though it's a drag that Tobi didn't give his Paths Rinnegan powers. Also Kishi kind of covered the clone drain plot-hole that was slowing forming.

Apparently some of the biju still have their free will and Tobi can use some weird chain tech like Kushina did to the Kyuubi to control the biju. We also see Suigetsu and Jugo for the first time in forever.

I think the Kyuubi is mellowing out kind of like Bee in his own way.

I suspect that was his intention from the beginning, with Naruto.

I note that Gai has 6-gates out, but *isn't* using afternoon tiger. Presumably it boosts his level but doesn't have as big of backlash when used like this.

5-tails broke free, and was also the only one that manifested last time. Related, I think.
