There were the numerous non-officer crew causing trouble too. It's just the higher-ups that used the pills.

So maybe they could've lasted for some time on the strength of the normal crew units, since the tough bits of the royal army were already beaten.

Hm, and the giant was Decken's too, wasn't he? Easily the toughest fight out of the foes the Straw Hats fought.

Here's a random though- for bodyguards, Danzo picked Fu and Torune. Who would Tsunade's be?

Kakashi and Guy probably.

Yeah, Kakashi and Guy seem the safest bet. Loyal and very powerful.

Agree'd...though she'd be hitting Guy a lot.

They're loyal and strong, but the Kage don't necessarily seem to be picking their number-2 people- likely a "Don't put the potential next candidate in a place to be lost if the Kage is lost," thing, with Darui being the only real exception.

Onoki brought his granddaughter, but not Kitsuchi, the other top commander among stone.

Then there's diplomacy factors too, which Guy wouldn't be great at.

So I'm unsure if she'd bring those two, especially Kakashi, her heir.

Shizune and Shikamaru? Sakura and Shikaku?

I have a feeling she'd bring one of her apprentices as a treat for them. Sakura is the more likely because Shizune would be busy.

And she'd bring one of the Nara's because they wouldn't make bad guards and have abilities to complement hers. And unlike others, they really would know how to behave themselves.

So maybe Sakura and Shikamaru? I mean yeah, their weak compared to the others maybe but they aren't terrible choices.

Would be lulzy if she brought Naruto and Shikamaru. The Summit would be quite different.

Tenten is all Tsunade needs. Springtime of Youth is proof. awesome

Shika would have planned something awesome for Sasuke and Naruto would have been there to whoop up on Sasuke withOUT the Raikage needing to do anything.

The Raikage would have been like, "LIGER BOOOMB!" Then Naruto would said, "Back up offf this! I goots this, son! RASENSHURIKEN!"

Sasuke would have no reason to be there though.

He sure would: to kill the Kages. Was not that the original goal?

Danzo was his target. Danzo is not there, therefore Sasuke really has no reason to go there. Unless Tobi is manipulating him via jutsu, in which case he wouldn't have a choice.

seriously, naruto would ruin team taka (minus sasuke)

In Sage Mode he would. At the time he needs to charge it.

Typical NemeBro. Taking other ideas and trying to pass them off as his own.

Never really though about this but after seeing the Akatsuki vs Gokage thread I wonder why Akatsuki hasn't bothered to just start taking over villages one by one. I mean Akatsuki could easily take Suna and Kiri before the other 3 villages do anything IMHO.

With a three to four main team, Akatsuki could decimate any village they wanted.
