Ulysses is a pretty kick ass name. But I read the stories in Greek so yeah, not used to it. 😛

Perseus is half human and therefore could never surpass him. He would be a demigod and is doomed to demigod status for eternity.

Nah. See, Minato was a God. And Naruto was his son, making him a demigod. Since Naruto will surpass Minato, it makes the perfect comparison.

Sarutobi was a God (Kami no Shinobi, to be exact). That means his son would be a demigod...the one that died. So your comparison FAILED son. FAAAAAILLED!

But they both died by non-gods so that comparrison kind of sucks.

Hashirama to Tsunade makes more sense from you take on it: at least I think.

There are only two shinobi to be called "God of Shinobi" and that's Nagato and Hiruzen. So the options are narrowed down to only two. Hiruzen's son died and Nagato did not have one. So it fails, too...because Perseus and Heracles both "lived" in the end of their tails (but they may have died of old age...or Heracles was immortalized...don't remember).

Not sure about Perceus but Heracles is immortalized after dying/having his body destroyed, I think. Well Hiruzen is just the product of being written too early in the series anyhow.

Wonder why they have to be actual gods though wouldn't Rikkudo Senin fit into that category? Matter of fact both of the Rikkudo's son's live.

Heracles becomes a full god after his death, yes.

Wait...so we can include the fan-fiction to the canon?

In that case, I have my own fanfiction version of the canon Pantheon.

In it, Zeus is the supreme God and Kratos is just trapped in a simulation of reality where he thinks he is defeating all of these Gods.

So I'm still right. 😐
