Nah bro.

Yes. And I'll kill most of the Straw Hats for the most cynical and depressing ending to such a popular series.

Me either.

Sueyness isn't inherently a bad thing though. At least I don't think it is.

Thought it was her outfit.
Yah mon. Haku's the original. Fu's the inferior failed copy.

Don't kill off Zoro or that cook dude. Or at least let them have awesome, manly deaths.

Good. They're overrated. vin

It generally is, really.

Also what is this shit, read Yu Yu Hakusho now guys.

WHO IS FU AGAIN?

Well, it depends on how one uses it. But, for me, Suey villains are less fun than non-Suey villains. Which is why I prefer Tobi and Teach to Aizen.

That's nice too.
Fu would kill Haku though.

Mihawk will kill Zoro. Sanji will be killed and thrown into All Blue.

I don't wanna.

The 7 Tails Jinchuriki.

Yu Yu Hakusho is troo quality sonny boy.

Fu is hot. I'd punch the shit out of her face until there was nothing left.

To each his own I suppose.

No time for YYH.

That loser Yamanaka that was owned by Mei. vin

Tobi's ungodly powerful now though. And apparently, so is Teach, if he has the same ability that made Whitebeard so friggin powerful. Granted, they don't have Aizen's ability to use Xanatos Gambits.

I like it more than I like her hair. Never liked green hair. Hairstyle's nice though.
Nah. Fu will just fall in love with him.

Make them awesome deaths or I'll have Kon grope Rukia while she likes it. uhuh

I took you up on it and started reading. I'm into the 6th volume and I am not impressed. It is immature and very ... I dunno...linear?

It feels like it was written for an 8 year old.

However, it is better than that one manga you guys were talking about earlier...about the biiitchass mage dude that doesn't get good until after chapter 70 or something? I got to chapter 100 something and I still could not get into it. It was just too shit...and messy.

Naruto is cleaner and more organized than either of those two. This must be why I like it more (one of my fav mangas).

Read Tenjho Tenge ma boi.

Bastard? I haven't actually read much of Bastard.

But yes dadudemon, we all know that you are the contrarian guy who has to disagree with whatever opinion is popular. No one really cares.

Ah, but there is a difference. Both Tobi and Teach have become ungodly powerful due to their efforts and successes. Tobi is actively using the Beasts he worked so hard to gather and Teach, well, is kinda in the same boat. Aizen was just born ungodly powerful and his Espada project...well, it didn't really succeed. Like at all. And both have used Xanatos Gambit's, what chu talking about?

Is very ninja like. CC?

Dude, Kon is one of my favorites. Go ahead. haermm

tobi vs minato next week in the anime btw

Eh, I doubt Aizen was born ungodly powerful. He also had to work hard to get the Hogyoku. Also, once he gained even more power, he lost his intellect in the process. True, his Espada project failed. Turns out he didn't even need it in the first place. And I think he just wanted to bide out the time. Or confirm its properties.
Dunno about Teach, but I can't remember one from Tobi. He has had awesome plans, but they aren't as good as Aizen's. 😛

Don't like Green hair on anything. She's still awesome though.

Well that backfired. Rukia could become the next villain though. mmm

I did, good sir. Many moons ago. Used to follow it when chapters were released until the finish. 😄

But, he was. And yes it failed, along with most of his plans. The only successes he had were TBtP arc and recovering the Hogyoku. 😛

Look at his war strategy: The Zetsu imitate the SA forces. In order to stop them, they need to use Naruto. If they use Naruto, he is out in the open for Tobi to capture him. If they don't use him, the Zetsu will destroy the Alliance and they'll catch 'em anyway.

Cutest villain ever.

I could go for Rukia becoming the next villain.

What if SHE was the soul king? AHA!

But, my money is on Urahara being the soul king or being directly involved with the soul king.

Negima then? As someone who is actually powering through the earlier chapters, allow me to ask what you mean when you say "messy"?

Well from a certain point of view.

You see, I have you pegged as a troll who tries to troll the srs bsns elitists on the internet.

You see, while Naruto is very popular, amongst the elitist manga reading community it has an incredibly large hatedom. Whereas Yu Yu Hakusho is a widely regarded classic among most manga-readers, including the elitists, and seen as great. You troll the srs bsns guys by saying the manga is shit, while supporting Naruto.

This doesn't really work on me honestly, since I am not that srs bsns. I don't really possess an incredible hatred for Naruto, though I don't think it is particularly good, I don't attack or insult those who like it, like your targets would. Well, not seriously anyway.

Another example of your contrarian trolling is when you have supported the Transformers film series, in the middle of threads with lots of people bashing it. Another "unpopular popular" series.

Another term for this is a Gadfly. Someone who says something either not necessarily indicative of their true beliefs or rather an exagerration of their own opinion.

Perhaps I am wrong about you, and if I am I apologise. Either way, it doesn't really matter to me, I can't really hate on someone for doing something I also do. 131

... How did you read six volumes of YYH already? How could you have done that in the time between my recommendation of it until now?

Look at NemeBro, thinkin he all smart.

That makes no sense since you, nor others here, are srs bsns elitists. In fact, very few people on KMC are like that.

Yes, I am aware that there are English speaking manga hipsters. You are also aware that some of my favorite just happen to be your favorites, too (Berserk and Vinland Saga).

O rly?

This is the first I am "hearing" of this. You are the only person I know, on all the internetz, that thinks YYH is "classic" and "elitist approved". And I didn't know that until reading this just now.

Additionally...please please please stop indireclty referring to yourself as "serious business elitist": you are none of the above. I find that label insulting as you should too. They are the bane of everything good and holy.

My "targets"? I think Naruto is very well written. Much better than YYH, Negima, Bastard (Bastard was gawdawful. Couldn't get into it after 3 volumes), and even some others that are better written like Gamaran (Gamaran is decent. It is better written than Naruto...overall, I like it more than Naruto, though).

You mean when I simply stated my opinion? Just because an opinion differs from the seeming majority does not mean it is instant trolling. It just so happens that hundreds of millions of people think the transformers series if ****ing awesome.

You see contrarian, I see everyone else in THAT thread (yes, it was just one...the official one. All the other threads I brought it up were to make a point about my taste deviating from KMC norm) as being the contrarian. I'm in the extreme majority, not them.

Neither of which would apply to me. I rated the first transformers a 9, the second an 8, the third a 6. I own T1 and 2 on Blu-Ray (I own only 5 Blu-Ray movies, btw). This is hardly the Gadfly definition you wish to apply.

Oh but I often put on the facade of one. I am actually wounded that you implied that you don't see it.

Yes, I am aware that there are English speaking manga hipsters. You are also aware that some of my favorite just happen to be your favorites, too (Berserk and Vinland Saga).

This is actually the first time I have heard of you reading Vinland Saga that I can recall.

O rly?

Well, admittedly the anime is generally more highly regarded, or rather, less divisive.

Though seriously? Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the more influential shounen mangas out there, Bleach in particular seems to take after a lot about it (Really, the most recent Fullbring Arc was really just a variation of YYH's Chapter Black Arc).

Well why wouldn't I? I put on the act quite often. I can't blame someone for having a perception of me that I promote. In game versus I think it is no boast to say that I am one of the few members who people are not sure if he is trolling or being serious.

Admittedly I can't really blame you for not liking Bastard. Bastard!! takes a while to get as good as it really is, really, before I just found it fairly amusing and having pretty good fighting and art (in terms of backgrounds and monsters, the character models are nothing to write home about and sort of cartoonish), only now, at volume 11ish, can I see Dark Schneider showing real depth as a character.

Personally? I don't think Naruto is particularly well-written at all. I don't buy the direction Sasuke has taken, Naruto's characterization has at times been plagued by derpy moments (Like pussying out and falling unconscious), and the side characters range from irrelevant to useless, with the occasional plot device. It also has annoying aspects like Naruto not even really acknowledging Hinata declaring her love for him and being willing to give her life for him (Short of a "Hey this happened" brief moment in the war). I also don't really care for how the series has progressed, in that, well, I remember when Kage level Jutsus were shingle shuriken. 😐

But this is just me. Though I give Aura shit for liking it better than One Piece, I'm not really that bothered by it, I have learned to accept the inherit inferiority of other people. 😄

That said, admittedly a particularly stimulating plot or brimming character development is not YYH's stong points. Awesome fights, and amazing one-liners are. estahuh

Younger Toguro is probably the best written character in the series. Though I may just be saying that because his muscles are totally big and he is awesome.

You mean when I simply stated my opinion? Just because an opinion differs from the seeming majority does not mean it is instant trolling. It just so happens that hundreds of millions of people think the transformers series if ****ing awesome.

Transformers is a case of critical dissonance. Popular opinion loves it. Critics despise it. Personally? Meh. It's not totally horrible, but honestly I never watched more than the first movie, which I found boring as ****. That falls into what I was saying though. The critical elite hate it. You troll them. 131

Aha! See! Critical elite despised the first two movies, but slightly warmed up to the third movie, which you liked less than the first two. That falls into what I was saying, no contradiction here. 313

K. Messy in all aspects you can think of.

The stories are messy (unlike some shounen manga, the stories from chapter to chapter really DO seem like they were thought of just the week prior), the art is messy, the backgrounds are sometimes messy, the character development is slow as ****/generic/messy, bla bla bla. It was very generic and messy. Just not really my cup of tea.

I totes agree, here. When Yuusake (or whatever the **** his name is) swam in the pond to the hole in the ground that was connected to the pond to uppercut that one power stealing demon b*tch, it was TOOOOOOTES something Naruto ripped off of when Naruto uppercutted Neji. I face palmed at the blatant ripping that Kishimoto pulled off.

Huh, I didn't actually make that connection, granted, it has been a while since I read the Rando Arc of YYH. Neat.

The Fullbring Arc was as I said similar to the Chapter Black Arc. Big Bad was just taken down, everyone is just chilling, then a bunch of humans with supernatural powers show up, using abilities that were not as overpowered as some previous characters, but were challenging and hax. Like in YYH, a guy who basically makes you play videogames with him (Seriously), or a dude who basically is Bullseye, and can mark people and make anything he touches chase them, powered by his spirital powah. Like a semi-truck, for example.

I don't believe you.
