thanks kitoky.... do you make sigs??? i really need one lol i'll ask the one himself then

was quenya based on latin exa????

Quenya is like our Latin, it's not based on it (i think). Quenya is the original language that broke off into many branches and is only used on special occasion. Latin broke off into several languages and is usually used by the Catholic Church

Exa, are there any dragon still living after Smaug?

No, it wasn't based on Latin, though sometimes called "Elven-Latin" because as it was the language of the elves of Aman, it was rather used by the lore-masters and the wise, and for official things... and maybe also because the grammar was a little complicated and seemed fitting rather for writing that for speaking (just compare the same sentence in Sindarin and Quenya - Sindarin is more fluent, shorter and better speakable if you talk rather fast

I dont know of any dragon surviving after Scatha and Smaug, though I think there are probably some left in the far south or near the Orocarni in the east - I don't think it was only Scatha and Smaug who for example ruined all the treasuries of the Dwarves.
I don't know of anything said about it by Tolkien except for the fact that "only few" of Morgoth's dragons survived that war of wrath

Exa,that jewel that Arwen wears and gives it to Aragorn,is it Elessar? 😄

As Kit said, in the film it's the Evenstar and it's appearance seems to be a mixture of the Elessar and the white jewel that Arwen gives to Frodo in RoTk 😕 😑
But it somehow takes over the function of the Elessar in the book / replaces it, though it's called Evenstar because the name is easier to remember 😛 and fits better for the whole Arwen-story in the film 😘

And isn't Elessar also the name that Olorin forecasted to Aragorn.
(started to bother, had to check...going now)

Galadriel did 😛

... based on a stone far older, made by Enerdhil of Gondolin

exa how do you type the accent marks and things?

i know a few:Ö...Õ...œ...

If u use Word, u can insert those symbols. I don't know the codes though.

Smodden, is the "mor" under your name have anything to do with me? If not, forget I even asked about it.

Umm what keyboard dyou have? the English one?

There are ALT-combinations for all letters (see in MSWord)... but there also should be keys on your keyboard for the basic accents, ´ and ` and ^ ... wait a moment *searches* ok the ` should be left of the 1-key... ^ is shift-6... can't find aigu, ´, at the moment... don't have an english keyboard and only have a pic of one... *continues search*

For writing LoTR-languages like Sindarin or Quenya, ´ and ^ should be enought, though the nasal tilde (~ over n) is also useful if you dont want to write it ng... will look the ALTcombs up ^^ jussst a moment...

yeah i'm talkin 'bout like the 'U' in nazgul...ect

where you hold down alt+ a code thing...or how do you do it?...yeah i have english keyboard..

morse...yes it does aply to you...lol...from april fools day...when i was a mod...*laughs*
those are the ppl that i was tryin to fool mainly besides everybody...

Ok for the thing in Nazgûl, type the shift-key (or caps) and 6 I think... hmm yea

or in Altcodes *looks up*

well with alt, the ñ should be rightCTRL plus rightALT plus + and then n... but... that somehow doesnt seem to work in forums... as also dont the other shortcuts... so you need the full Altnumber....... you find them if you open the symbol-box in your MSword...

I remember that. Nice try.
I don't think u can make those symbols here, but teh shortcut for the ^u is Ctrl+shift+^, then u

Lol ^ and u should be enough ^^

ok i checked word and found 'em...most of em/...thank 'ee exa...*bows*

*departs*
