yes, but within social realtions, each sorce is represented my a human mind. The matrix acts only as means of sending that information.

Okay, I'll leave it be.

"In that case, Rade, you are confirming that some things in the Matrix are just as genuine as they are in the physical world.

So. Does this make any difference to your previous answers?"

yes, SOME things are the same. It's juat a particular view of my former point...

Okidokey, so are Rade and Castor sticking with saying that their choice to leave the Matrix was invalid?

I cannot remember where Heph was on that...

no it wasn't invalid...i just have to find an argument that says so...

Wlel, that is all the help I can give you, I am afraid.

(think you still remember my answer)

Although I said that, its only because i was trapped in the logic and also when i presented an argument involving the meaning of validity you told me i wasnt allowed to challenge its definition. So I guess i have to accept that.

Changing the definition of valid won't help you, Castor- the point is you still agree with what Melitus said at that point. If you change what valid in this case means, you are talking about something else! I defined what Melitus meant by valid.

ok then we move on now then?

I am ready if everyone else is... I was wandering if Heph wanted to say anything.

Very well then. However, I can only accept the logic you offer, therefore your characters are indeed now of the belief that your decision to leave the Matrix was invalid. There is no position you can take where you can say that but believe otherwise- a critical contradiction like that wil fail you.

If you do not believe that choice was invalid, then please say so. You will lose a hell of a lot less for that than simply saying something you do not believe. A lack of logical consistency is a big problem, but lying even more so.

"Please return through the door..." says Melitus.

Rade does so

You are in a vast underground cave. The cave is almost entirely filled with figures made out of some form of painted clay. A central strip to walk down is in the middle, flanked by these clay figures, with an obvious gap where a figure should be at one point, just by the central walkway.

"who's missing here?" says Rade pointing to the gap

A moment later, the door on the far side opens, and the Butler walks in, and over the course of the next minute, at a steady pace, makes his way to the gap and stands there, alongside all the clay figures.

"what's all of this?"

"Consider the scene before you," says Melitus. "I wish you to tell me the differende between one of my terracotta warriors... and my butler."

the difference between them within the matrix? or when viewed from the outside world point of view?
