Well, finti even now I can say that you are wrong...and this I have from a source that is 100% more liabile than you...I speaking of the Delta Force commanders that where in Mog.
They said, the problem in street wars is that when you shoot the target it dont fall down at once, i reashes behind a building, and you will never know if you killed him...but luckily that also saved some of out troopers...
this is taken out of the documentary...Somalia Good intenstions, deadly results.
Counter this finti....But I think Delta Force commanders know what they speak about!
a body in motion will continue its movement even if shot , if you stand still your body will just drop if shot.
An example from BHD is when the pilot is injured inside the choipper when they attack, to much hollywood stunts there.
Fact about being shot is that you dont know how a body will react when hit by a bullet, it all depends on the movemebnt the body had when the bullet hit it.
But in hollywood the body fly backwards when hit by a bullet, this is what I was aiming at.
have you ever seen anybody being shot Thomas? cause I have
A lot was also wrong...like Josh Hartnett role, when he plays Sgt Matt Everesman.. In the movie the feature him as the leader of chalk four going to the crash site and everything, and when they help clp Smith, who dies of a bullet in the hip.
In Mog that day Matt Everesman and his chalk four jumped on the convoy, not ran by foot to the chrach site.
And Matt was never there when Clp Smith died.
So they did not make it exactely as it happend..anyway it is the greatest movie of all time!
Of course BHD isn't entirely accurate. It's a movie, you have to make certain dramatic and storytelling decisions. On the DVD there're a lot of docs on Making BHD, they tell you how they merged people together and why. And why they chose to let Eversman spend the night in town.
Also inetresting to see how many of the guys who were there were actually present on the set. They helped to make it as realistic as possible.
