well if it is realism you want then you ougt to se we were soldiers

For the first I have seen WWs, any way, i would say that it could have been much more realistic!! For example, when there is an explosion one meter from your leg, you dont get trown 5 meters up in the air....your leg gets blow apart..and maybe more...but the explosions are good in wws, still Black hawk Down is the most realistic war movie up to date!

platoon is. everyone who i know who was in the vietnam war agrees. they know more then you do, or any critics for that matter.

Was this a gory movie....I never saw it...but I was thinking that I might rent it one day

i don't remember it as being particularly gory.. but i saw it a long long time ago.. so i probably won't remember correctly. .. then again, war movie. must have gore

its quite gory, some ugly scenes!
See it!

you've probably seen it before.

never...hehe

then you havent seen many war movies. since everything in that movie had already been done before.

still Black hawk Down is the most realistic war movie up to date!
bullshit. How many guys did that injured helicopter pilot take out with a gun?

about 7 of them with an MP5, later he gets an modefiyed M-16 of Shughart and then he kills 2!!
I know only about two war movies that can mesure it self with BHD in realistics, and that is saving P Ryan and Platoon!!

platoon is the only true realistic war movie.

so is black hawk down!..........

great film...but it was streached too long

well, cant be maked any shorter..it would cut out the little carracter devolpement..and that would never have worked!

platoon is the only true realistic war movie.

Then you should watch " All is quiet on the western front "

then he should watch Black Hawk Down!

Nah it wasnt real, to much hollywood when someone got shot

well, I aint going to bring up this discusion again...I only say this...I know more than everybody here on the forum about this....so I know it aint to Hollywood...

haha
