Uther got ganked by Arthas, Arthas aint the most powerful, we dont know that yet, Kil'Jaden might be a match for him, should Sargeras return well he too could win arthas, there are still many very powerful creatures lurking around in the world alone, Deathwing being one. gezz there are so many beings around, that its impossible to know if Arthas would even come in at top 3 for that matter 😉

Considering Illidan'll be the last boss in a 40-man raid for level 70's in the upcoming expansion and Arthas beat him.
So technically he's more powerful than C'Thun, one of the Old Gods that would easily smear Sargeras across the face of the Earth. And C'Thun took 40 60's to kill.
And Sargeras is dead.
Deathwing's banished, he so much as shows his nose and the rest of the flights will be on his ass.
C'Thun beat Sargeras? I think not, the titans came to Azeroth and beat the old gods, Sargeras also has one of the most powerful weapons in the universe Gorribal should he destroy his follower Aggramar he would get his part of the sword Taeshalach he would wield the most powerful weapon namely the Gorshalach., Deathwing is hiding or captured by Alexstrasza at Grim Batol, thats all that is known about his current location

You think Sargeras is just any Titan? he is the most power of them all when he was around when they banished C'Thun and the others, sure a titan fell, but that has little to do with Sargeras, he has wreacked worlds since he became evil, C'Thun had truble with his army to defeat the Trolls
Then again....Azeroth isn't just "any" world, is it?
They've killed him. They've killed his right-hand commander. They've killed his left-hand commander. Hell, they've even destroyed the being he possessed, Medivh. Twice the Legion came, and twice they were sundered.
And anyways, he's just one Titan, when it took them many. When I say "many", I don't mean three or five, I mean about twenty. Even though he's most powerful, it's still pretty damn clear that a face off of Sargeras vs. an Old God would end up with Sargeras begging for death before the end.
It took them many cause there was alot of fighting to do, all the elementals, and their minions.

All those they beat when they where at their strongest, and they also beat the Old Gods, 1 titan fell, but the entire Old god regime fell, C'thun as far as I know fell to 40 mortals if we'r to take WoW seriously regarding the lore.
Ragnaros takes 40 level 60's to beat. C'Thun takes 40 level 60's to beat.
Do you see any fundamental difference between the two? I think not, other than the different spec's that each requires. So does it make sense to you, then, that Ragnaros is his "minion", considering that the two are nearly equal in terms of level?
And that pretty much proves my point, that one Titan cannot take on a single Old Lord.
