i like guilds but sometimes players get pushy and snobish in the higher guilds and so it puts me off, especially when guilds ask you to already have tonnes of epics which is near impossible when you havnt got a guild....i think when i start playing again ill just simply pvp till high warlord, takes time but not as much as raiding and getting good guild, and before that maddened grinding, i think ill get the tier 0.5 dungeon set as well
then maybe ill think about guilds.....id like to join magtheridon server, they always seem to beat the bosses fastest, they must be awsome, Netherlim or whatever the guild is called beats kelthuzard first time...awsome....they prob want alot out of their members though, something like full tier 2 and tonnes of epics and everything 🙄

World of Warcraft is going to be parodied on the first episode of South Park October 4th, so awesome.
Thanks for the update BF, did you see the episode of stargate atlanstice were two charaters were talking about wow, most of what they said was completely of course buts it's still pretty funny.
Hopefully it helps the poor souls who are dangerously addicted to the game to the point that they literally have no life, see how friggin pathetic their lives are.
The episode was brutal and spot-on in some cases.
I never played WoW. I would LIKE to but. like cigarettes, I know I will become addicted.
I couldnt get into it long enough to get addicted, everyone else I know who plays it lives on it.....I dont see how you can sit for hours doing the same quests like 'go halfway across the map, kill 4000 birds and bring back 5 beaks, then run back across the map to get the next mission, which will be right back where you were'...its so fecking boring.

Its not like that when you're 30+ .

thats sorta an exageration and looking from a narrow prespective, for 5 beaks youd have to kill only about a maximum of 10-15 birds for such a quest. also thats just a boring low level quest, the higher lvl ones having you go into cool castles, fighting dragons and demons and monsters and gaining all sorts of awsome gear......also another main things is that your with people, unlike just playing other games on your own, when your playin with people it makes a big diffrence
Also dont forget the leveling aspect of it and the adventure and the Professions, i mean for example, while your hacking up 20 birds for the quest, you could come across Copper or silver depending on your level, which has gems in it, which you can sell for some cash or make a cool item or machine....thats another cool aspect, and you gain a new level and spells all in the same quest...thats a better outlook 😄
it was only yesterday i started the game up and i played for a straight 4 hours, and frankly even just satanding around for 20 mins was fun, because i was with a friend....and the rest i was fighting all sorts of monsters and bosses and had quite a fun time

Nah. The quests where you have to kill 10 [something] harpies, 5 [something] harpies and 5 [something] harpies, collect their feathers and so on, its so fecking frustrating. You can kill off the entire harpy population and not get your items, so you have to wait for respawning. Not to mention when you die you respawn on the other side of the map. And low level quests are still shit, if you have a weaker character, you pretty much have to run in, kill 1 or 2 creatures, then run back, heal, repeat. It takes ages and the xp you get is shit, all the time and effort put into a quest and the reward is not worth it.
I also found playing some quests with others more annoying, it was ok if you had to do one of the collection quests cause they could collect stuff too, but if you have to go on a killing spree, your teammates are running off doing their part and cant help you when you get ambushed by 3 creatures 5 levels above you.

Yeah I did leatherworking and skinning, but it took too damn long to get the leatherworking skill up, and I already had armor far better than what I could create, wasnt worth it. By the time you get to use good spells, you have to be about lvl 30+. Im talking 100+ dmg spells, its useless when your lvl 20 and your highest spell does 50dmg, and you cant buy a better one until you lvl up more.

I played it a lot in the first few weeks I got it, and I enjoyed it, but that was until I got to about lvl 10, and all the quests were repetitive and boring and took too long to level up. Not to mention for someone like me who isnt all that into the Warcraft lore, the story was fairly broad and boring.
lol. that southpark episode was more like a blizzard publicity stunt.. I think they got the idea of gaming til you plump up with food macros from a few famous death accounts due to MMO playing
like the one dude who died playing diablo 2 cuz he wouldnt go to the bathroom.. or the dude who died playing everquest, and there was food all over his desk..
there was also a death related to counterstrike, where some kid (grammar school age) made fun of someone highschool age after beating him at cs... and he either turned around n shot him (cuz he didnt know the kid was sitting behind him)... (this was at a PC gaming place which they have alot of in korea).. or he followed the kid home and killed him somehow
so its not really just related to MMO's although they do seem to aid in such deaths the most... however most current games have "Reminder" programs that tell you you've been playing for an hour... 2 hours.. etc. and recommend that you log off and get some rest
