there was also a death related to counterstrike, where some kid (grammar school age) made fun of someone highschool age after beating him at cs... and he either turned around n shot him (cuz he didnt know the kid was sitting behind him)... (this was at a PC gaming place which they have alot of in korea).. or he followed the kid home and killed him somehow

so its not really just related to MMO's although they do seem to aid in such deaths the most... however most current games have "Reminder" programs that tell you you've been playing for an hour... 2 hours.. etc. and recommend that you log off and get some rest

i've never seen that reminder 😬

All i know is what they were playing wasn't wow lol 😛

i'm trying to have a 10-day trial...but i do not want to pay after the 10 days are over, so i went ahead and read that FAQ on the thing. where it says "choose subscription" i didn't want none of them, because i do not want to be billed right after the 10 days are over...although i gave my card info in the box, it still said "you must choose a subscription"

but when i read it, it says " To avoid interruption, all subscription plans are recurring. After your free 30 days have expired, your credit card will be charged for the selected subscription plan and will continue to bill after your pre-paid time has elapsed. The full amount to the immediate right of the radio button will be charged at that time. You may modify your plan at any time via Account Management. "

that's like saying it'll start ASAP...
so how the hell do i get 10 days free and no money paying?!?!

WOOHOO ime back playing WoW and it is good, ive joined a nice guild, can do up to Shazzrah in MC and we do Raids regulary, should be awsome and get some Tier 1 Epics soon 😄

well they do ask for your credit card in case you wish to continue playing 'after' the 10 day trial, which is why they ask you what your payment plan preference is... so I wouldnt expect them to bill you after your 10 days unless you give them explicit permission.. I suppose if you wanted to be uber careful you could hit the "cancel subscription" button after your 10 days are up

well i chose the 15 a month, and it said could not process card...

is it cause theres no money on it

hmm well a number of things can be the issue... like the expiration date on the card.. you may have entered incorrect numbers... their website might be having issues, and so on

i just hope the code they gave me will let them know its a 10 day trial and not a payment plan

woot downed Baron in MC and got SHazzrah to 2% then wiped 🙁. but an awsome battle....downed Genral rajaxx in AQ20 as well, got to Buru but we wiped about 5 times but were gettin there, need a bit more DPS

my guilds cool...gettin along fine, going through the bosses quite fast, we beat Buru today in AQ, nice battle

My buddy who works for Blizzard got me a slot in the friends and family beta test for the Burning Crusade. Downloading the client now, taking so damn long.

Outland is really awesome, the monsters look really cool and aren't just larger versions of monsters you've seen elsewhere, and there's some neat lore about it.

Yeah I was playing a BE a moment ago, their starting area looks great, very nice music and interesting quests. Haven't seen their city yet, though.
