"Hey, u, u guy, over there! Do u no Morgan?" yelled Ron. Morgan squealed, huddling farther away in Rhia's robe. Andrew looked over, then grinned, nodding. Hermione punched Ron in the shoulder. "Ron, that's mean." she said, but she was smiling.

Descartes shook his head. "Too old." he said. "I'm here with my sister."

"How ironic. I'm here with my twin brother." Maik replied "Who seems to have dissapeared." She looked over Descartes' shoulder for Elrohir, but she couldn't find him.

Andrew walked around Rhia, to c Morgan, who was huddling down low to the ground. "Hi, Morg." he said, smiling. "Uh, yeah, whatever." Morgan mumbled, blushing. Morgan stood up, then looked away, reaching for some punch. "Oh, ask her to dance already!" Ron yelled, laughing. Andrew blushed this time, glancing at his shoes. "Ignor Ron. Um, Hermione, Ron, Rhia, may I speak w/ u?" Harry said, pulling everyone away so that Morgan and Andrew were left alone.

"Would you like to dance. Maybe the you could fid him?" Descartes asked.

"oh, I like this song." Morgan whispered. "Then, could I have this dance?" Andrew asked, brushing his hair out of his eyes. Morgan considered him for a moment. "Sure." she said, putting her hand in his.

"I'd love to dance." Maik smiled and held out her hand to him.

Descartes took her had in his gently and led her oto the dance flloor as they began to dace. He smiles as he watches her eyes.

Maik had forgotten about Elrohir entirely. Her eyes a color of gold.

Descartes cheeks redened slightly. He smiled as he lead her around and around until they passed Sonia and Elrohir.

Well, Morgan thought, it could definatly b worse. At least this is the first guy I've danced with that I haven't had to lead in the dance. And he has yet to step on my feet, too. But Morgan got the feeling that he wasn't going to do that at all.

Elrohir's eyes widened with astonishment as Maik and Descartes went by. He couldn't remember the last time she had danced with anyone, much less a Slytherin.

Andrew smiled. He was dancing with the prettiest girl....well, according to him, at least. And she wasn't half bad, either.

Hermione looked over at Ron expectantly, but he just stared at Morgan and Andrew in dissbelief. Harry recognized Hermione's glance, and turned to Rhia. "Rhia?" "Hmmm?" "Could I speak with u?" Harry lead Rhia over to a table away from Hermione and Ron, and said, "We have to get them together." Rhia smiled, and nodded. "Just what I was thinking. What are we going to do?"

The great clock began to chime, and Maik looked up, suddenly remembering why she was there. Time was running out. She couldn't stay much longer.

Descartes saw thw look she had. "Is something wrong?" he asked concerned he had stepped on her feet.

"I have to go." Maik said. "I'm sorry." SHe stepped away, still holding his hand

Descartes kissed her hand. "Good bye, Maik." he said softly.

Sonia looked at Elrohir. "You too?"

Maik held his hand for a moment longer, then turned and left, leaving a small ice sculpture of a dragon in his hand.

Elrohir nodded. "Perhaps I can see you again sometime?"

"Maybe sometime." Sonia said standing on her tiptoes to kiss him softly. "I know it sounds weird But I feel like we've met before." she says.

Morgan turned to see Maik try and go. she felt crest-fallen, and turned to Rhia to ask her more about the mysterious message she had had 2 deliver, but saw that she was in deep conversation with Harry. Andrew turned to her, trying to see what she was looking at. "What's up?" he asked. Morgan pointed, and and he nodded. What happened next saved more than one couple's lives that night.
"Rhiannon, would u do me the pleasure of dancing?" Harry called out loudly.
"Keep wishing, Harry Potter, I am going to ask Ron Weasley!" Rhia said clearly in hearing distance of Hermione and Ron. Now everyone was looking at Rhia and Harry.
"But," Harry Moaned in mock-pain, "Uh, I really wnat to have this dance!"
Ron, looking over at Harry, wanted despratly to help his friend.
"Rhia, my advice is to take Harry's offer, because I'm danceing with......" Ron gulped, then turned to the girl next to him, "Hermione."
A cheer went up, and odd couples raced to get in another dance.
