"I meant it in the best possible way." Maik assured him, handing him a helmet.

Descartes smiled. "I bet." He teased sliding the offered helmet on.

Maik grinned and slipped her helmet on, fishing her keys out of her pocket

Descartes waited patiently. He ewas a very paient man afterall. "SO your dad's okay with you and Elrohir being involved with us Huberts?"

"As far as I know." Maik replied, finally finding her keys and heading for the front door. "He hasn't said otherwise."

Descartes nodded. "Good, cause I'd like to live until Sonia at least graduates from Hogwarts." He teased.

Maik laughed. "You shouldn't be in danger of that. Unless of course my driving reall is as bad as Elrohir thinks."
She reached down and dusted the snow off the seat of her motorcycle. "Hope you don't mind a cold seat."

"Nope, cold seats I don't mind." Descartes says climbing on after her.

"Hold on then." Maik said with a smile and revved the Motorcycle into life.

Descartes wrapped his arms around her waist waiting for her to take off.

Maik stepped on the gas and they shot down the street, the buildings becoming a blur as they went past. "By the way, how do I get to your house?" Maik called over her shoulder

Descartes shouted his address and the directions to get there.

"You live HERE?" Maik said with a little awe as they stopped in front of his gate. "It's so...big."

Descartes blushed slightly. "Uh, yeah, it's both an advantage and disadvantage at the same time."

"I like it." Maik smiled reassuringly.

"Good, because I inheret it if my parents die."

"That isn't going to happen any time soon, is it?" Maik asked

Elrohir shook his head. "Hopefully not."

Maik took her helmet off so she could see Descartes properly. "No. Well, thanks for coming all the way to my house to talk to me."

"You don't want something to drink or maybe a small snack before you go?" he asks smiling softly.
