The Yule Ball

"Alright." Maik said with a laugh. "Were should we look? Azkaban?"

"Do you think he stayed put?" Elrohir asked

"I don't know. If he came looking for me, this would be the first place he would look." Sonia says before a mischevious smile crossed her lips. "Then again, he was with Maik. They may not have left yet."

"Probably. SOnia did say she was going to go visit dad."

Elrohir laughed. "Just what do you think he's been up to?"

"We should go there first then." Maik said. "She's probably still there."

"Hmmm, nothing much, because I know Maik." Sonia says laughing softly despite herself.

"Yeah. Shall we take the long way, or just apparate?"

Elrohir chuckled. "Ah, but just how well do you know Maik?"

Maik shrugged. "Depends on how much of a hurry you're in."

"We'll apparate." Descartes says. "Sonia is as fast as her mood swings."

Sonia laughed. "Well enough to know she doesn't do anything like THAT until they are really serious."

"Alright." Maik said, pulling her wand out.

"Like what?" Elrohir asked mischieviously, raising an eyebrow.

Descartes smiled. "Yay!" he says with mock enthusiasm.

Sonia laughed softly. "If only you knew."

Maik chuckled. "Don't sound so excited."

"And if I did?" Elrohir asked with a half smile

Descartes pouted. "I'll try." he tells her holding her free hand.

"You'd have a pretty warped mind."

Maik laughed and held his hand tight as she waved her wand and apparated them to Azkaban.

"Maik's is worse." Elrohir chuckled

Sonia was just about to retort when in a flash the two in question appeared just a few feet away. "Speak of the devils."

"Good. You're still here." Maik said

Descartes laughed. "Thank goodness."

Sonia giggled.

Elrohir noticed Maik still holding Descartes' hand and smiled to himself.
"Did you talk to your father then?" Maik asked Sonia

Sonia nodded. "Um, yes, I did." she says. "Look, I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier. This all just kinda happened at once."

"It still is, sis. We can get through though."

"We will."

Elrohir nodded. "I'm sure everything will turn out all right in the end."

Sonia nodded. "I hope."

"If we can clear your dad of sending that death eater, that'll help things." Maik said

"He said that he did not do it; I believe him." Sonia states somewhat shortly as she glares at Descartes. "Whether my brother does or not."
