"Honesty is always good." Elrohir replied

SOnia nodded. "Where is Mr. Aslan."

"Mr. Kent, given the time of day, is most likely lying by my fireplace." Maik said.

Sonia blushed when Maik corrected her. "Oh, um Mr. Kent, sorry." she says coughing.

Elrohir chuckled. "It's alright. I doubt many people know Aslan's full name anyway."

Sonia nodded. "So, shall we go get him."

Elrohir nodded and took Sonia's hand. "We'll apparate there."
He waved his wand and they dissapeared, reappearing a moment later outside Maik's apartment. A second later Maik and Descartes also appeared on the doorstep and Maik unlocked the door for them. Just as predicted, Aslan was in his cat form, stretched out on the floor in front of the fireplace.

Sonia had to keep reminding herself that Aslan was human. She wanted so much to just hold him, pet him, scratch hime behind the ears, and baby him. He was human though. She couldn't do that.

Aslan cracked an eye open and regarded them with somewhat detached interest. "I don't suppose you all came here just to see me." He got to his feet and stretched lazily, then sat on the hearth rug looking up at Sonia and Descartes. "What are you two doing here?"

Sonia bit her lip. She knew she would probably have to be the one to ask Aslan for his help, but she was kind of scared too. He didn't exactly seem to be in a generous mood.

Having no immediate answer from the Huberts, Aslan flopped down again and rolled over onto his back, his feet sticking up in the air. "Look! I'm a possum!"
Maik rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Possums are generaly much quiter when they play dead Aslan." She gave Sonia a slight push in Aslan's direction. "Ask him!" She whispered

Sonia bit her lip before kneeling next to Aslan and scratching his belly. "I need your help." she says her voice shaking.

Aslan smlied his kitty smile. "I'm listening."

"I need you to help Descartes and I prove my father didn't send the dementor after my mother." Sonia asks softly as she continues his belly rub.. "Please?"

"Even after everything your father's done you still want to save him?" Aslan said, half to himself. "Interesting..." He twitched his tail thoughtfully for a minute before speaking again. "May I ask why?"

SOnia took a deep breath. "You mean why do I want to save him or why do I need your help?"

"Why do you want to save him." Aslan asked. He pointed to his soft belly with a paw as if to tell Sonia to keep scratching it.

Sonia smiled softly and continued scratching Aslan's stomach. "Because I believe firmly that no one should be punished for a crim they didn't commit. My father didn't kill my mother. He doesn't need to be punished for that. As for so called corrupting me, well, he may have, but then he should be punished for that."

Aslan nodded thoughtfully. "Very well. I will help you." He rolled over and got to his feet, stretched, then turned back into his human form.

Sonia had to keep the awe from showing in her gace. She was still amazed by anigimis. "Thank you, Aslan. You don't know how much this means to my brother and me."
