"He'd appreciate it." Elrohir replied. "Knowing him he probably found some odd and likely completely unique way of making that potion taste much better than it should."

Sonia nodded. "A lot of witches and wizards will be thankful to him then." she says smiling softly.

Elrohir laughed. "Yeah, I suppose so. That'll please him."

Sonia smiled. When she finished the potion, she hnded the vial back to Elrohir. "So what did he say? Any progress?" Her eyes glimmered with a small hope.

"He's working on it." Elrohir replied, not quite meeting Sonia's eyes. "He'll have something soon"

Sonia knew better. "It looks impossible, doesn't it? Don't lie to me, Elrohir." She sighed.

"I didn't lie, Sonia, really I didn't!" Elrohir insisted. "Aslan will find something, don't worry!"

Sonia looked away. "If they find him guilty, they'll throw my mom, my brother, even me into Azkaban."

"They wouldn't do that." Elrohir replied. "It would only be your father. I'll make sure of that. If your father does have to go to Azkaban, he'll go alone and I'll do my best to make sure he doesn't stay forever."

Sonia smiled. . .truly smiled. "Thank you, Elrohir. You don't know how much that means to me."

Elrohir smiled, taking hold of Sonia's hand. "You mean the world to me Sonia, how could I do anything less?"

Sonia blushed softly. She moved so she could kiss him softly. She silently wondered what Descartes and Maik were up to at the moment.

Elrohir smiled and returned the kiss, deepening it slightly.

Maik scratched her chin thoughtfully, throwing another log into the fireplace. "You think Sona's going to be ok Descartes?"

Descartes nodded. "Yeah. She'll be fine. Especially now that she has your brother for support."

Sonia's eyes shot open. She laughed on the inside. After a while, she pulled back for air.

"Has she always been like this?" Maik asked. "So prone to illness?"

Elrohir blushed slightly, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Sorry, was that a bit much?"

Descartes chewed on his lower lip before answering. "Yes, she has been. Mother became an alcoholic because she blamed herself. She'd always wanted a daughter and now the last child she could ever have was always sickly."

Sonia smiled. "No, I loved it." she says laughing softly.

"That explains why Sonia hates St. Mungo's so much then." Maik replied.

"Good." Elrohir replied, smiling and blushing slightly redder.

Sonia smiled. She pulled him back into another kiss.

Descartes nodded. "Yeah, but you can't tell Elrohir."

"I won't" Maik assured him. "It'd just make him more worried than he already is."

Elrohir smiled and put a hand on Sonia's waist, slowly moving his hand up her back.

"Exactly, and then Sonia's wrath would be completely unbearable." Descartes said chuckling.

Sonia shivered. She wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss even more. She forgot anyone could just walk right in.
