This reminds me off the desperate ramblings of a stereotypical 'old guy'. You attitude is far to Blase for a competent debater.

If you look closely at my previous responses you will find that, we are actually in agreement. Not concerning the matter of whom is the stronger. But about how to accurately assess the Marvel strength Level system. 🙂

Cheers that is correct. 😄

How did Thing do against Juggernaut. I know Colossus knocked him down twice in their first fight. And Colossus was only class 70 at the time.

Both Colossus and and thing are no match for Jugs

But I would say the thing is better 🙂

Issues proved Colossus with his Class 70 strenght, is better than Thing that after beating 99 guys pumped up from Mephisto's magic, was knocked out with 3 blows from Juggy.
Colossus strenght and durability>Thing's strenght and durability

Maybe, I don't have evidence to back it up.

Thing does battle cosmic dudes and lives to talk about it.

This would be a good match

Thing battled Terrax, that just got up fine from his blows, and Terrax WASN'T even tapping into the Power Cosmic to surpass his Class 75 strenght level, Thing "fought" with Silver Surfer, a guy that hold back even when you insult his mother and stomp his face.
Thing show his own for few seconds, then gets kicked in the butt.

yea he said...this cant be the real colossus cuz he's way tougher, should have been knocked out a long time ago...The skrull was actually more powerful than the real colossus, he was able to engage Gladiator in combat and the momentum of his punches went through Captain America's shield. In that same issue Gladiator hit Caps shield with enough punches and eye blasts to level a city and it didnt move Cap an inch. The Skrull punched the shield and Cap went flying. Colossus a Martial artist?...he may encorporate some martial arts techniques in his fighting but he is no Shang-Chi. Wolverine taught him some moves, bg deal. Grimm a wrestler?....where did that come from...are you refering to when he quite the FF and became a pro wrestler and prize fighter?...That was something he did for fun, that is not where he learned how to fight. Ben Grimm grew up in a really ruff hood..his big brother,a gang leader was killed there. He learned how to fight there. He was also trained in the Military and fought with Wolverine even (as Ben Grimm, not the Thing). The Thing also encorporates Judo, he recently used it to take down Iron Man. More Durable? he may be able to withstand more heat. But this is a fist fight; Thing has demonstrated dozens of times how he is able to take more abuse. Where was Colossus' durabilty when he fought Champion and ended up a bruised up pile of steel and they had to quite the fight before he got killed? Thing took the same punishment and more, he also put up a fight against champion.
Colossus is not stronger, they both presently demonstrate that they are in the 100 class now. If u knew anything about Things powers u would know they continually grow in time, unlike Colossus. Thing's second mutation left him stronger than the Hulk. When Reed Richards passed a piece of the Thing through a few thousand years in a time bubble, it evolved into an omnipotent being. Thing is a better fighter, and can take more abuse, and they are both in 100 class strength range.
your statements were onesided and not based on comic information, just your opinion of the Thing that wasnt based on anything.

The THING actually the ribs of The Champion with some of his body blows.

The question you may ask yourself is how did The THING get in close enough to do so on the GREATEST hand to hand fighter to have ever lived over the last couple hundred billion years.

Oh by the way he also happens to be way up there in the CL100+ strength chain.

People it's because Ben Grimm was a GREAT fighter as well as a GREAT athlete prior to becoming The THING.

In addition to his GREAT willpower.

Thats how he did it.

I call it as i see it youngster. Whirly is the master of his trade. You lack the subtlety and timing to convincingly pull it off, therefore come across as needy and inadequate for idolising someone from a comic book forum. Leave your PC screen for two secs and find yourself son, go and make some human contact. Just a lil advice.

Whether we are in agreement over the marvel system or not is irrelevant. The topic is a versus match between Thing and Colossus you favour the Thing so we are hardly in agreement where it matters. Also if we are in agreement about how to make sense of the Marvel system then you must surely agree on the point that Colossus is officially stronger and more durable for the aforementioned reasons. My points have yet to be countered by yourself, i await your "witty rebuttal"

Enough of the clash of the egos.

Colossus wins 7/10 due to his strength and durabilty advantage.

At least Whirly put in the extra effort and used the spellcheck. 🙂

It really is quite amusing watching you desperately trying to mould yourself into something you're not. I pity you and your feelings of inadequacy. Really i do. We're all friends here Yahman i for one would gladly help you work on an identity of your very own. Hows that? 🙂

Collossus takes this one - although it is very close.

Possibly 6/10 - Collossus.

G.S. you do make me laugh 😆 😆

And how exactly do you intend on doing that ? 🙂

I don't want to be turned into one of your cronies like Creshosk

Also aren't both Colossus and Thing rated as level 6 ??????????

If not im willing to admit that i'm wrong.

well i say colossus has it hard with this one but still wins and the thing can do so much......colossus would crush him!!
right?

Those levels are ranges.

Spiderman and Wolverine are both listed at level 4.

But wolverine only has around an 800 punds strength while Spiderman has a 15 ton strength.

level 4 is just, comparitivley, low level superhuman strength. 5 is mid level superhuman strength 6 is high level super human strength and 7 is godlike strength.

Each number represents a range.

Where does Marvel give us a peek at what those ranges are per CL?

They don't.

So it is still up to the Comic public. Us. To put whatever #'s on whom ever.

Sad but true.

There has been no such form by Marvel.

Don't kid yourself.

The THING has never actually fought Juggs.

There was that secret wars BS. Which nobody in their right mind would count that as an actual fight.
