Thing vs Colossus

yea he said...this cant be the real colossus cuz he's way tougher, should have been knocked out a long time ago...The skrull was actually more powerful than the real colossus, he was able to engage Gladiator in combat and the momentum of his punches went through Captain America's shield. In that same issue Gladiator hit Caps shield with enough punches and eye blasts to level a city and it didnt move Cap an inch. The Skrull punched the shield and Cap went flying. Colossus a Martial artist?...he may encorporate some martial arts techniques in his fighting but he is no Shang-Chi. Wolverine taught him some moves, bg deal. Grimm a wrestler?....where did that come from...are you refering to when he quite the FF and became a pro wrestler and prize fighter?...That was something he did for fun, that is not where he learned how to fight. Ben Grimm grew up in a really ruff hood..his big brother,a gang leader was killed there. He learned how to fight there. He was also trained in the Military and fought with Wolverine even (as Ben Grimm, not the Thing). The Thing also encorporates Judo, he recently used it to take down Iron Man. More Durable? he may be able to withstand more heat. But this is a fist fight; Thing has demonstrated dozens of times how he is able to take more abuse. Where was Colossus' durabilty when he fought Champion and ended up a bruised up pile of steel and they had to quite the fight before he got killed? Thing took the same punishment and more, he also put up a fight against champion.
Colossus is not stronger, they both presently demonstrate that they are in the 100 class now. If u knew anything about Things powers u would know they continually grow in time, unlike Colossus. Thing's second mutation left him stronger than the Hulk. When Reed Richards passed a piece of the Thing through a few thousand years in a time bubble, it evolved into an omnipotent being. Thing is a better fighter, and can take more abuse, and they are both in 100 class strength range.
your statements were onesided and not based on comic information, just your opinion of the Thing that wasnt based on anything.

To each their own. But From what I read on Thing and Colossus I have to agree with crazyspins on this one. Thing fans will pick Thing and Colossus fans will pick Colossus obviously. I am Juggernaut fan and well I pick Colossus.

does anyone know if Colossus will be in the next FF X-Men crossover?

Didn't they fight before in some kind of Champion Tournament where the Grand Master and Galactus pit their own chosen group and had them fight one another? From what I know, Thing and Colossus went head to had head and Thing kicked his ass. Thing wins this.

Things fought and kicked around guys like Super Skrull, Annihilus, Blaastar, Namor, etc. Who's Colossus beat and won against? List please. Especially you crazyspinz.

Well with Wolverine getting most of the but kicking duties in the x-men. Colossus did get many chances. Colossus did beat the Sasquatch down in Uncanny #121. Sasquatch is no light weight. He did defeat the alien Ord in Astonishing x-men #5. He didnt look like no fairie either. And hes held is own with Juffernaut a few times. Its not much but its a start for a list.

Then there is the Ultimate version of Colossus who laid the smack down on Iron Man and Thor in the same comic. And then he proceeded to Slap the master of magnetism around.

i thank u for your respect, but on www.classicmarvel.com (witch isnt the most credible but is still very accurate as far as up to date) is gives colossus a martial arts A, and thing a martial arts B and wrestleing. and as far as training, i doubt the gym in the baxter building could compare to the danger room

what does a site about role playing games have to do with actual comic events?...I never even look at that site, it isnt relevant. My perspective is based almost purely of comic information...even Marvel's home page is frequently innaccurate along with the UNOFFICIAL website, marveldirectory.com
