Thing vs Colossus

I'd be backing Thing. He is Marvel's fighter.

He is known for brawling.

I think he's Marvel's "fighter" based on the fact that whether he knows he'll get whooped or not, he goes in and tries his best.

Not gonna assume that's what Vic meant but that's what I think of when the word "fighter" is attached to Thing. Fighter doesn't neccessarily mean literal fighting.

I don't think Colossus, Hulk etc are known as fighters coz they are two extremes. Hulk doesn't consider winning or losing, fights for the fight of it. Colossus just fights to get the job done. Thing is the fight from the heart, guy you can imagine seeing on the street, type fighter.

In my opinion anyway.

I think everyone knows about Things fighting ability and his determination. Nobody can take that away from him cause thats what makes him who he is. I still think Colossus can win unless someone can make a good argument changing my mind(and yes that is a challange). I hope nobody think that I am a Thing hater cause of my sig. cause he is one of my favorites behind Juggy.

The new colussus has 100 class strength... thing only has 75 this is where Colussus would win.

Thing and the Hulk is a credible fight based on Thing's pre-eminence as the 'fighter' in Marvel. Colossus is just the X-Men's generic strong man.

No, Thing isn't 'just' their strong man. Thing isn't known for his strength. Colossus is quite literally, 'the strong person' in a massive group of people.

So...

Man Hulk/Think hardknocks was four issues of crap. What did that prove. I wouldnt even call that a fight. Colossus is known for more than being strong. He has a heart just like the Thing does. They are actually similar characters.

Thing v Hulk was quite crap. Additionally, Hulk is more than a match for Thing. That isn't my point, my point is, that the comic exists. When Colossus/Hulk becomes legitimate enough for various collections and mini-series, then I'll consider him more than average.

Colossus and Hulk dont have a history so you will be waiting for awhile. How about Juggernaut/Colossus hard knocks.

actually Colossus did better against Juggy than Thing ever did. Colossus knocked Juggy down twice in their first match. Thing got k.o.'d in 2 hits and didnt even land one punch.
