Your in Biology and that means what to me? I have taken Biology before too...And what they teach you is that evolution is right...that doesn't mean that your getting all the truth there dude...It's not like you go out looking for fossils either...Fossils DO not prove how old something are, my example of the volcano and the tree alone proves that. So there was a different type of horse whoppdeedo...There have always been different types of animals...especially dogs depending on whom they were bred to...cross breeding, etc...That doesn't prove anything still...How did your ripe apart my website? It was one person's opinion which I agree with...and so is yours...they are both opinions...Your websites think one way, there's no way to disprove it because its their opinion and it is not fact...there are no facts on the website in fact...just what they say...and you take it as fact...whereas my website, is a guy's opinion....The article on the T-Rex was not written by a creationist I can assure you...Scientists are famous for changing their minds on things...
Oh, and as a side note:
To those that said that the New King James version of the Bible contradicted itself...I picked up a copy today and those websites changed around quotes...It does not say that God created humans, then animals, and then animals, and humans...so the websites are full of B.S. like I thought. You can't take everything on the internet as truth...you gotta find out for yourself, which is what I did...go and pick up a real Bible and you'll find out your wrong.
"Haha, call me a hypocrite. I actually get off my ass and look for answers. You wouldn't know that, would you? Right now I'm in Advanced Placement Biology, and I'm going to take Physics and Biology in college. We do experiments and laborotory reports, so we can see the evidence for ourselves. There you go again, making ignorant assumptions.
Fossils DO prove how old something is. Carbon dating and other methods of dating on the bones of fossils give us the fossil's age.
Yes, there are "varieties of types", what you don't get is that I'm saying that it was a different "type" of horse. Not a variety. There were fat and midget and tall eohippuses. I'm not disputing that. How do I know? I've looked over the evidence of scientists and researchers. DNA testing also proves how the two are different.
You are thinking that the Eohippus is just a smaller horse...it isn't. It's a different animal.
I noticed you basically ignored how I ripped apart that little website you posted...have yet to see you do the same thing to one of mine.
I want to see this article on the T-Rex. Made by a creationist I suppose. No scientist on earth with half a brain would think that shrp pointy 8-inch teeth were made for leaves."
Hunchy, have to say I disagree. Fossils do prove how old something is, or at least can make a pretty accurate estimate. I saw your above example about the tree that was covered in lava. Yeah, sometimes scientists make mistakes. But they haven't just been making consistent mistakes every time they find a fossil. And even if they weren't accurate about how old the fossils are, dinosaurs were definitely on earth before man. Because there was never a time when dinosaurs and men coexisted, there is no mention of them in the bible because we didn't even know they existed until we found the fossils. So you might as well give up on the whole "god put man on earth first to govern over all other creatures" theory. My point is there was life on earth before mankind and we evolved from that life one way or another.
And yeah, scientists do change their minds a lot. Because they are always receiving new information. That's a good thing. But even thought they do change their minds as new facts are discovered, after a while of studying and observing nature they eventually get it right. So hopefully one day soon the theory of evolution can become a scientific law instead of just a theory. Until then there are still holes in it, but you can't deny they are making serious progress. Didn't people once believe that every thing was made up of 4 elements: water, earth, fire, and wind?

waaahwaaahwaaahh. You're still trying to debate? This is kind of sad. You're just arguing for pleasure now aren't you? Because I've given you information(the correct information), disproved your stupid little website that you tried to present to support you opinion, and you're just denying everything. Like a true little stubborn Christian that doesn't want to think his whole belief is based on a lie.
You obviously didn't pay attention in Bio class. They don't just say "evolution is right". The whole class is about presenting facts and seeing how they work. Everything in that class has some sort of evidence to support it. I disproved your stupid little volcano/tree thing, and you're STILL trying to use that!? Wow. This post would be longer, but I have to leave for school.

I have to say that teaching in your country must be rather weird if they claim evolution is pure fact... every single scientist knows that in time every theory can change... that's why it's a theory, it can change; that's why it is NOT religion, which won't change eventhough by now they finally agreed the earth is NOT a square...
When I was taught about evolution, they clearly stated that there were still holes to fill in and that I have to see for myself what I thought of it.
and your claims that the website changed quotes is rather pathetic,... I have to agree with arachnoidfreak yet again when he says his last phrase of the first paragraph. You're in a sad denial about something as silly as this

Ahh, man, I missed this last night...right when I logged off.
Hunchy, apparently you either 1) didn't pay attention in biology class, or 2) your teacher was an idiot. Because evolution isn't taught as fact, as has been mentioned already. It's taught as a theory, and it's taught that evolution still has holes in it due to things such as missing links and the such. But there is overwhelming evidence for evolution. So some scientists made a mistake in determining the age of a tree because it became covered by ancient rock. Big deal. Scientists, upon finding that they made a mistake, go out and try to find more evidence. That's what science is, finding evidence to support theories. It's always changing. But religion isn't; in religion, it's "this is how it always was and always will be and nothing can ever change."
Yerss -- who thought the Earth was square? I thought that they thought it was flat...and no candy for you 😛
Hunchy, you said that the website you presented was just that guy's opinion. Apparently you missed the part where in front of every paragraph, he wrote "Fact 1, Fact 2," etc. I tore that site a new butthole. Give me another one, that shit was fun.
Also, the fact that one verse on the website is wrong doesn't make the entire site wrong. Why don't you try doing what I did, and actaully read through the whole thing, and THEN prove it wrong?
Scientist don't "change their mind" they accept new facts, and improve upon their old theories. This alone makes science much more efficent than religion.
