what if technology fails? We're screwed then. Or we could use old people to teach us everything.

I heard of this new invention...it's called books...I heard one can read them.....

I can see that. I jsut figure once technology fails, people might actually start reading again.

😬 you can't be sure on that; and technology won't fail.

That's why it is "might". I can't be sure on anything. Thanks for pointing it out though.

there are some things you can be sure about the future:

Unawareness
Uncertainty

Nope, there aren't.

But we are uncertain of the future.

Can't be certain that we are uncertain.

Yes and uncertain about the past as well. 😛

that is true. Some people don't even know that the Earth is 6,000 years old. 🙄 how stupid, it says so in the bible, therefore it MUST be true.

Ancient peoples had no concept of geology or any way to measure the age of the planet. It has nothing to do with "stupidity".

but what of people who still refuse to believe that the earth is older than 6000 years? whats their excuse? (barring the developmental challenged of coarse)

They just refuse to buy it. I suppose "gullible" would be the word. 😬

Intrestinly enough, carbon dating is only 100% accurate up to 7,000 years.

It's guesswork after that, all of which is still a theory and unprovable.

Meanwhile people see the effects of God's work in nature, in human functions, in emotions, in blessings that they have recieved, and choose to believe the Bible.

Go figure. 😉

Buying that there is no God, that life has no meaning, and that you and I are here becuase of some cosmic cum-shot freak accident that any educated person will tell you has about 0.0001% chance of actually happening in the supposed order that its supporters claim it did, to form life, the human being and all its functions, and the systems of life on earth that all support each other.......

by SHEER DUMB LUCK.....

is pretty gullible.

And what proof do you have that God created all this besides an ancient text that is about as relevant to the world today as Lindsay Lohan and:

"Wow! God! This is awesome, who di..." "Yeah, it was me. Trust me." "But what about tha..." "No...it was me! TRUST me. Ok?"

Hmm? Because realistically that's all the proof we've had from "God".

Many folks have seen God in there lives.

Take my father-in-law, who was healed of Hepatitus C at a huge rally, or the friend of his who was delivered from homosexuality through prayer, or.... wait.

What am I thinking?

How could something that millions of people feel and experience to be real in they're REAL, day-to-day lives ever stack up against a theory that is unprovable at best, and flat out wrong at worst?

Stupid humans, believing what they see working right in front of them in they're own lives.
