Maybe you're on a Creationistically censored computer? 😄
I dont really think it matters a whole crap load if evolution is taught in schools or not. It is still possibility that everyone will become aware of. I still believe it was a very bad choice of Bush to ban the teaching of evolution in schools. I understand what prompted him to, seeing how he is religous. Completely banning the knowledge is insane though. I understand if he actually got involved and changed how it was taught, like for instance, instead of saying Yes this is the deffinite answer to where humans came from, to yes this is a possible answer to how we came to be. Because religoun, and evolution both cannot be proved. I would say give both possibilities in an unbiased manner, and let life wander and decide for itself. However to completly ban a source of knowledge is the oposite of what school tries to teach, knowledge is knowledge.
RagesRemorse> “Evolution cannot be proven.”
I suggest you read this thread, where I offer ample proof of evolution.
If you doubt evolution you doubt biology and science.
So once again: Evolution is a scientific theory. A scientific theory is more than an educated guess, but a hypothesis that has been tested, and experimented with, and is continually undergoing refinement and research.
Creationism is an unproven hypothesis with zero evidence to back it up.
What will be next? Teaching kids about flying saucers? It’s just as bad. Schools are for knowledge and facts. Not for culturally accepted delusions.
