Xavier- technically speaking any skill can be paired with Dex if the situation is right. Just those are the default pairings.

Related to which, an ad hoc xp system has been developed foe the game, not dissimilar to the old one. Only trouble is thhat it involves working on total pools rather than the skill, else xp can unbalance very quickly (so for example, if increasine Pilot, the cost to increase it would be based on your highest possible plioting pool (so Pilot + Dex, basically) and not just your pilot score.

Nope! So long as you do not lose track of the game. Posting habits always vary and people should not feel obliged to keep up with the hardcore.

Especially since some of us will post endlessly when the banter's good.

But trust me, it helps to at least read the game every day if possible. Sometime games go slow, but you never know when we can suddenly go several pages in a day.

Dude, screw my computer. My laptop is superior in all but 1) battey life and 2) keeping up with my typing. It shall become my RPG powerhouse.

Fictional, but better!

I'm used to normal PC keyboards, so whenever I type on a laptop it's a pain in the ass for me.

Of course it's better! It is unrealistic!

Typing on a laptop isn't that bad (though it seems to be less sensitive and I kind of need to mash the buttons sometimes), but I hate not using a mouse.
