Zafira shrugged. "I still say the shown respect alone would be great." she said remembering gettieng knocked down in the market place. Dumi didn't hit her.

The workers hauling the stone block were almost at their destination when the earth ramp became too narrow to support the whole sled. It started to crumble away at their feet, and too late they realized that it was going to fall. They all ran to the side of the pyramid in an effort to get a foothold, but it was useless. The whole ramp broke down and slid down the pyramid, taking other pieces of ramp, blocks, sleds, and workers with it. Rameses fell helplessly with the rest of the workers. When he reached the ground he lay still.

((xeous what happened to your sig?))

Zafira heard the commotion. Without a second thought, she ran towards the pyramid. She looked over the mass and spotted Rameses. She ran over to him, knelt down, and cradled Rameses. "Wake up, Rameses. Please wake up." she begged not wanting her friend to die.

Naqadar ran over to the pyramid and started helping clear large pieces of rubble off of the workers, helping those who are alive, those that are dead he just moves on.

He runs over to Rameses, on the way grabbing the doctor.

"Help him!"

"I...there's so many that need me more...I...He'll..."

"Will he live?"

"Probaby without me but others NEED me!"

"Then go!"

Zafira looked up at Naqadar. "T...thank you." she said. "For trying." she smiled. for once it was genuine not forced.

"No problem but there's others that need help..."

Naqadar kinda reluctantly backed up towards the nearest person trapped under rubble then turned and ran. He tried to get the rock off but it was far too heavy for any one man...Maybe even two. The man trapped was yelling,

"My leg! Oh MY LEG! HELP! HELP!"

Naqadar yelled, "Help over here! ANYONE! HELP!"

Rameses brother, errm... I forgot his name... I'll call him "Ikeny"... Ikeny rushed over to the scene. He was only fourteen years old, but he was nevertheless fairly strong. He grabbed hold of the rock Naqadar was struggling with and hauled with all his strength. The boulder hardly budged, but it looked as if it would eventually lift free.

Zafira sighed. "Stay here, I'll be back." She told Rameses before going to help Ikeny.

Rameses started to wake slowly, in stages. He was aware of very little except for the fact that he felt awful. Every part of his body ached with a dull pain.

Zafira saw Rameses oponed his eyes. She ran over to him and cradeled him. "Are you alright?"

The chaos was over. Rubble laid everywhere. Naqadar was just dazing out, looking at all of the dead...Trying to figure out what to do with them. 'How will I tell their families that they died building a temple for my dead father?' he wondered...'What to do next?'

Naqadar needed to tell his advisor to gather up the bodies and do some basic preservations for them. He would make a monument...Not just for these dead but for every person who had died for Egypt in any way. He would call it the Temple of the Dead. These people would go there, that will be their throne. He made his way towards the palace slowly...

Zafira looked up. "Pharoah." she called still cradling her friend who was alive. She tried to see his expression.

Naqadar stopped. Not turning around and with his head hung low, he answered in a low voice, almost a whisper. "Yes...?"

"Will you be alright?" she asked.

Rameses looked up slowly, still barely coherent.

Zafira looked down at Rameses. "Are you alright?"

"I.. Guess so.."

Zafira smiled. "I'm glad you are alive. We should get you some help." She looked around but everyone was busy.

"I'll be fine...I...I...If you ever need me, just show the guards that amulet. I have to go think now..."

Soon, night would fall and the next day would rise...

Zafira had someone help with Rameses. They took him to their house and began to work on his injuries. "He'll be fine, Miss...um"

"Zafira." she said. "Here's what little money I have to pay for his care. If it's more then I'll bring it tomorrow." With that she had gone home.
