But remember DD said when you go to voldy's side, you can't just hand in you registration, it's either you're in it for life or death.
And i'm sure Snape didn't just walk back in hand in an "i'm sorry" card and Voldy just punished him and then be like "ok, you're back on my side now dude"
Nah, if Snape did that as i said, Voldy'd had suspected him.
They had another plan, i mean it's JK Surprises, surprises
As tassie had mentioned, JKR has many surprises (expected)... So I kind of agree with you on this one, big gay kirk; JKR might have wanted to confuse us with who betrayed Voldy and who was the "coward one."
Although, it's more possible that Snape is the one who Voldy reffered as the "one who betrayed." tassie completely got my point here... Voldemort would know that Snape was a spy for Dumledore if Snape is REALLY spying for the Order... The Imperius Curse proves to be false because of the whole thing with the veritaserum and Umbridge... HOWEVER, remember in the 4th book? We all thought Moody was the real Moody because he was extremely nice to Harry... tsk, tsk, tsk...
Still, I still believe that Snape is doing some work for Dumbledore. We're just not sure what kind of work was it for the Order... The only known possibility is that he is spying... for Dumbledore? OR for Voldemort? ~_^

Perhaps when Voldemort (ssshhh!) mentioned the cowardly one, he meant Snape, and referred to Karkaroff as the one who had left forever... then if Snape has gone back and taken his punishment, alls right with the plot...

There's something fishy going on there.I can't wait for the other books to find what happens. By then I'll be probably reading the books to my kids🙂
All these things you've written have confused me a little. I love Snape as well, because he is evil BUT he's on the good side. Do you really think Voldemort knows what Snape is doing? It's possible but I don't want to believe it. And what about this Occlumency thing? Mind-reading and mind-locking? Aren't these things opposite each other? Like a door. I close it, you open it, I close it again, you open it again. Or I don't understand something.
How could Voldemort find out Snape's betrayal? What could Snape tell Lucius Malfoy why he is a teacher in Dumbledore's school? And if the theory about Snape (that he's a dhampir) is true? Is it good for Dumbledore or Voldemort? What if my headache will last? bangin
What's a dhampir? Never heard of that rumor. LOL.
Ohhh... I just realized something!!! Amy Black made me realize that in the books, Lucius Malfoy seems to have some kind of "friendship" with Severus Snape (by the way Draco acts towards Snape because of his father)... What if big gay kirk is right in suggesting that the "cowardly" one is Snape and that the "one who betrayed" him is Karkaroff (Voldeomrt might have gotten it all mixed up)... I mean, Snape and Lucius are friends... So Snape's cover as a Death Eater to spy on Voldemort is alright after all (mainly because of Lucius)... LOL.
Okay, now I've got the headache (O_o)...

A dhampir is a half-vampire. I read somewhere that Snape's mother is a vampire. And Snape's sometimes described as a bat -> vampire. I don't know if vampires have to register themselves as werewolves have to. I don't know if vampires appear in the magic world like werewolves do. Besides, it's not sure that Snape is a vampire, so why am I talking (writing) about this? confused1
Well, i'm not sure if i'm right lol, but i think everyone agrees that...
Snape is on DD's side, as a spy on Voldemort, and he might be getting his information thru Malfoy, right?
If Voldy thinks that Snape is the cowardly one, then there'd be a greater chance of him taking back Snape, because he knows Snape could be useful to him.
But, we should also expect surprises ((i know i'd be disappointed if JK didn't try to surprise us))... like Sauron said, Karkaroff might play some unintentional role in getting Snape back on Voldy's side...

what snape should probably do is get whats his name ermkarkaroff, right, apparate to voldy and then either torture or kille karkaroff
then voldy would be like 'i am pleased, and this one things has apparently made my memory of you betraying me and working with dumbledore for so long disapear!'
i mean, it's kinda far-fetched ^^ but Karkaroff isn't gone from the books as yet, Voldemort must kill him, or something, so why not include him in Snape's plan?
You always talk about this "past." It's a fanfic as you mentioned. LOL. It's not even connected to the real HP. Unless of course JKR's mentioned something that relates to the fanfic that I haven't heard of. It's unlikely though.
