Snape is a double agent......We all know that he's turned spy for the good side. They mentioned this in book 4 and also in Book 5. That's why Sirius or Lupin told Harry that Snape was excellent in Occulmency. This is how he is able to be in certain activities or present when Death Eaters discuss their plan of action. He would need Occlumency so that Voldemort will not catch on. This is probably one of the reasons he had to train Harry. But well, Book 5 did let us know how he's playing both sides and preventing the Death Eaters from knowing his real intentions.
Snape is as he is.... nasty habits, finds it difficult to forgive, he honest deep in his inside, he is also good in his inside , but the point is that that is veryyyyyyyyyy deep!!! He could never forget to Harry 4 looking and behaving so much like his father..... I hate snape!!!! but there would be no Hogwarts without him !
SOmetimes Snape drives me crazy but I think in the end he could be a favorite. JKR said that one of the teachers at Hogwarts reminds her of a teacher she once had...I wonder if it was Snape??
I can't wait for book 6...................... and for some more of JK's hidden insights to be brought out in the open...he little hidden clues and stuff...........
I have to say that I hate Snape in the Books, but the movies are totally different. I LOVE Snape. I love the way Alan Rickman portrays him. I think he does a great job in playing his character. I'm confused!!! hahaha. Anyway, Snape is going to end up being a great person, although who knows if he'll ever get over the hate he felt for James, Sirius and Lupin.
Snape and Neville are the real heroes... Snape is actually a quadruple agent, spying for DD, while pretending to spy for Voldy, to whom he pretends to be spying for DD while being on Voldy's side, while all the time pretending he's spying on Voldy for DD, and he's actually just doing his best to play one side against the other so that neither The Dark Lord or Evil Albus get to use Neville effectively...
well i think voldy knows about snape cause it was mentioned as the death eater that would never return, and i think there are more reasons why snape hates harry. well i like to think he kinda likes him but doesn't want to show it. for example if snape was in love with lilly we could say that he regards harry as a son he never had maybe? or he actually hates him for the same reason. we know that the deep psychological issues that snape has involve james but we do not know if it was because of the joke they played on him or not. we only know he hated Sirius because of that. so basically we need BOOK 6 crazy
