Lily felt a tug on her braid and gazed around finding no one nd shrugged it off.

The uncle backed off as he saw the 'darkie' talking to Catori.

Catori shook her head. "I don't think that is going to happen. I don't know though. The guys name is Miko (racoon, not really). I'm not even entirely sure if I like him as a friend much less a husband."

"I understand... But hey, didn't you say it was your choice in the end?"

"Yes, but I am never good with decisions. I fear the outcome." Catori admitted. "I am a coward."

"Relax, amiga. You have to make a decision, eventually... Just do what feels right."

Looking into the dark night she only saw the wind rustle.

Catori nodded. "Amiga means friend, right?" she asked learining a little spanish.

Luis chuckled. "That's right."

Lily joined in and "Ono means one?"

Luis nearly jumped with surprise. "No, 'uno' is one."

Catori sighed. She walked away from the two not wanting to put a damper on their good moods. What was she going to due.

"Ohhhh," she said with a nod as another tug on her braid appeared and she looked about for it.

Riko snickered as he went to talk to Catori. When they were out of earshot he began. "You like the white man."

Catori nodded.

Luis watched the man. He didn't want to interfere... Yet.

Riko gave a grave expression. "Uncle won't be too happy."

Catori nodded. "I know."

Luis kept watching, from a distance.

Chayton walked up beside Luis and panted to be petteed.

Luis scratched the wolf-dog behind his ears.

Nat was trying to communicate with a woman from the tribe who wanted to trade for his watch.

Lily walked along the fire telling scary stories.

Leo held his head. How long had he been out for? The last thing he had remembered was falling off Gene, who now lay down (if horses can lie down) a few metres in front of him. Looking around Leo could only see one sign of civilisation, a small barn about a mile east of where he now stood.

Catori and Riko joined the others.
