Do Superman fans really want to bring up crossovers? Venom!? Or was that fan voted, but how would Venom ever defeat Supes in a popularity contest?
You don't have to bring that up. It isn't canon, and neither is Surfer vs GL, or any of the crossovers Surfer is inaccurately portrayed in. I think everyone understands that now.
Whether or not everyone understands that Surfer's red sunlight power cosmic blasts would be more powerful than one of Lex Luthor's robo-suits's red sunlight blasts is unclear.

IG didn't work in DC either.Yes you still see a debate because we assume it’s both there power works like they whould in there own universe.
In Superman/Batman #20 Superman fights a dude called Green K who happens to be a Kryptonite based villain and holds his own rather well.

really? if that is the case, that might throw this battle in a new light. perhaps dc's (finally!) getting tired of having supe's overshadowed by every new or upgraded 'cosmic' that comes down the pipe? that k weakness is tough to overcome though. if as snoop suggests however he is growing invulnerable to it (and if his resistance to red sunlight is also increasing OR not as bad as some thought) , that would put supe's into a whole new category.

And yet Superman did fight the Kyrptonite based villain and was at a very close range. Although he needed Batmans help the fact was that he was still standing in from of him trading punches.
i'm willing to take your word for it. supes's 'weaknesses' tend to get a bit overblown at times. he has fought 100's of opponents in the past that knew his weaknesses and he ultimately finds a way to overcome them anyway. he's battled and beaten foes who use magic, who use kryptonite and who use red sun blasts. your luthor 'super suit' reset was a great one, by the way. well done for remembering back that far!!

You mean, try read the crossovers where they remember each other?DC/Marvel Crossover Classics isn't in continuity. I doubt Access is either.
In these fights, all superheros are using their abilities at maximum efficiency. The maximum output of a character is what they have done under their own power, without any enhancement.
Read the forum rules. 😉
I have, I think you need to comprehend them.
Feel free to prove those issues are not in continuity.
You "doubting" it is far from proof.
