each one to their own, i know too many people on other boards who think season 4 is the weakest. but i must say season4 was certainly the most entertaining of the 4 seasons.

I watched seasons 1 - 4 on DVD so fast that they're all a blur... haha.

I never watched it on TV... it's so much better just blowing through them all in a few days... watching 7 episodes back to back is fun.

"In order to control illegal immigration in the United States, the president installed cardboard cutouts of Jack Bauer along the US/Mexico border."

okay this episode had many OH COME ON moments but i guess now they've totally let the belief system go off. Episode was entertaining nonethanless

Wow...even stalwart supporters of this season are seeing its flaws now...

hey i am a 24 fan but like every other show, it is not perfect. It has its flaws, you have to suspend your disbelief to watch the show. some storyline are not what you would call great, but overall this season has had its fair share of drama, tension, emotions and action. It has mixed it all very well in my opinion, something that was wrong this season 4. And i think while we have still seen some boring sub plots, they have not ben stretched out for the whole season, unlike other instances. This season has been fast all the way, with very very few filler episodes, only one that i can think of. THe plot has always been progressing at a steady rate, this is the best season since season 2 for me, and it might outdo it if it goes out with a bang.

that tight wad that works with that blonde lady of homeland security at ctu, bugs the crap out of me! gets in the way and called president logan when he swore to the lady he wouldn't. i know he's just doing his job...but my gosh! *sorry, had to vent about that!*

Sorry, Todd, but I'm still absolutely LOVIN' this season! 😄 I Don't know what to say...

My PC crashed a few weeks ago, so I spent tonight catching up on the three episodes I missed. Good stuff all the way... The end of the last episode was totally predictable though.

last episode wasnt even entertaining to me, because its 100% predictable and or stupid at this point.

the last scene of the episode ruined the episode for me. I mean seriously the whole way the scenario was playing out, logan was not answering his calls, the music by sean callery was going great, he drank some scotch and was about to shoot himself, it would have been one of the most darkest scenes in tv history, but no instead we get this lame as$ explanation of how myles just walks into the room with a magnet, where chloe has no protection and jack bauer is just kissing audrey's kneecaps, and thats all it takes. They could have certainly done it in a much better way, i was a bit dissapointed by this episode. GREAT episode till the last minute.

i dont like that hellar lived, and i thought it was so obvious he was going to kill himself before he went for the gun, but it was even more obvious hed be saved before going through with it. Miles is the biggest loser in 24 history.

Yeah...seriously. Heller should be dead....

I'm still sticking by the whole 'shark has been jumped' thing.

I'm still loving Season 5!

I don't think that President Logan being evil completely destroys all the continuity of the earlier episodes of the season... infact, I think it makes it more interesting and has given me reason to want to go back and rewatch the season later.

Heller being alive might not be what it appears to be... I can't remember, but I don't think anybody has actually SEEN him alive.

I thought the ending was spectacular to last Monday's episode. We see a broken Logan only moments from pulling the trigger... to suddenly be handed his life back. It's obvious to me that Miles, the Homeland Security dude, was using some kind of magnetic device to wipe the memory of the recording. Without the recording, EVERYTHING changes. Up until this point, I believe Logan was acting with SOME shred of good in him still. But after the events of the last episode, I think he has snapped and will be an evil SOB. 😈 💃 All things considered, I have to commend actor Gregory Itzin on his performance. He's doing a really amazing job IMO.

^ gregory itzin's performance is emmy worthy.

I think it's still going strong, but what the hoo-hah does this 'jump the shark' thing mean, and what is its origin?

It's the moment on a television show when it has reached its ultimate peak, but you know that from that moment on its all downhill. It refers to an episode of Happy Days where Fonzie literally jumps a shark... apparently it's a phrase coined by the makers of this site: http://www.jumptheshark.com/

i think the phrase JUMP THE SHARK has JUMPED THE SHARK

Kind of like this show...

Its almost painful.

Well that was a waste of a nerve gas canister... surely it would have been just as easy to just shoot the people in the sub. Otherwise I think it was a great episode. Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin are doing superb jobs, in my opinion...

i can see the nerve gas making sense there. They dont exactly have time as a luxury and a fire fight with a sub fule of soldiers who have already been alerted isnt exactly a simple task, and definitely not a quick one.

Yeah, I suppose... though it didn't seem like there were all that many people on the sub. They showed maybe two or three people keeling over and dieing. I'm sure there'd have been more soldiers on there, but it's not like they used the sub's air-con system or anything, they just threw it down there.

Anywho, it's not a big deal...

Something that has been bugging me... I still don't see the importance of bringing back Kim for just those few episodes. It seems to have effectively accomplished nothing. I was certain she'd be back, but with only two hours left I'm not so sure...
