24

Just watched the 24 finale last night and I thought it was fantastic! I didn't have a problem with any of it except for the fact that they had Jack on a boat in 8 minutes, but meh. It was dramatic, it was tense, it was 24. You just have to suspend disbelief for TV shows. The important thing is that they are entertaining and every season of 24 has definitely been that. I love all of the seasons equally. I can't wait for next season! Jack escaping from China! It will keep the show fresh.

Spoiler:
wayne palmer is reportedly the president next season

With Jack in another part of the world next season, it will be nice to see the show taking place at different times at the same time... if ya know what I mean... With Jack being in a different timezone...

I can't see that happening.

Spoiler:
Variety reports the character of Wayne Palmer, who previously acted as chief of staff to his brother David, will be featured much more prominently in the new season. In season five, he helped Bauer stop the nefarious plans of a group of terrorists with access to the White House. In season six, Wayne will be elected president himself.
Spoiler:

Official 24 Scoop: President Palmer Lives On
When 24 returns in January 2007, there will be a familiar butt sitting in the president's chair: Fox has revealed that D.B. Woodside, aka David Palmer's brother Wayne, is moving into the Oval Office for Season 6. Moreover, Regina King (Jerry Maguire, Ray) has been cast as the Palmer boys' sister, Angela, an advocacy lawyer. Of course, being made a regular on this particular program offers, at best, only marginal job security. Just ask Reiko Aylesworth. Or Dennis Haysbert. Or....

2 pretty reputable sources

oh EW online is a 3rd one, http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2006/07/24_another_day_.html

Spoiler:
Ausiello: Major-ass prattle-poop! Spoke to exec producer Evan Katz at press tour, and the boss-man told me that somewhere between "18 months and two years" will have passed when Season 6 launches in January. He said the idea of picking up immediately where last season left off was "talked about, but it's always important to us for the characters to have traveled a certain amount of distance emotionally. You don't get a chance to do a lot of that during the course [of the season]. Also, the odds that two of the worst days [would occur] right next to each other stretches credulity a little bit." Meanwhile, the New York remote that I first told you about last month has been scrapped. A source close to the show informs me that the producers have rethought the first episode and have decided that they can get what they need in Los Angeles. Bummer. I was hoping we'd get to see Chloe try to hail a cab during rush hour.

Well, 24 and Jack Bauer won the Emmy Awards. Congradulations to the show and to the greatest character in television EVER.

Congrats to 24 and especially Kiefer, he finally won his long over due award for his amazing portrayal of Jack Bauer

Season Six Trailer!

Can't wait for this!

Holy crap it looks good - but how many more bad days can Jack have? I love 24 but I feel it should do like Life on Mars is doing and end before it gets old.

I didn't think much of Season Five, I'm still looking forward to this, though.

😱 Thanks a lot for the link. Im dying to find out what the chinese people did to him. Season 6 looks pretty good.

Meh, it looks OK. I'm not as hyped up about it as I was for season 6, it doesn't look quite as good. I also think this may be the last.

this is season 6 you must mean 5. Five was somewhat unanimously the worst season so far and I think 6 looks improved but cant tell until you get into it.

Haha! Yeah I do. I've seen the trailer a few times, looks pretty great. Hopefully it'll make up for the last season.

I think Michelle Dansler is hot

How can something be 'somewhat unanimously'? It's either unanimous or it isn't. It can't be slightly unanimous!

Either way, I liked Season 5, and I'm looking forward to Season 6. When is it due to start?

Sometime in January, I think.

somewhat because maybe 1% of 24 fans would think otherwise.

It will in fact start in January.
