Kim is a stupid whore...she needs to die.

As for this episoded, I have huge problems. Usually Jack is gung-ho for doing anything that violates protocol. But here, when it is obviously the only choice, he does everything in his power to try and convince everyone NOT to let Henderson into the field. Seems like pretty unconvincing role reversal.

Thankfully we find out what happened to Aaron...Go Mrs. L.!!

I'm just tired of the politiking and having every freakin' person CTU transfers custody getting sprung by their compadres.

COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW! At least the sub's missles aren't nuclear....blah.

the past episode sucked so bad i am so dissapointed. Lately even the 24 dialogue has made me cringe too many times, it seems as if the writers and actors dont get enough time to go over this stuff. Overall, very very bad episode, i hope the 2 hour finale redeems the past episodes

so no one's gonna comment on the finale?

i thought it was great

hi, u guys know what is going on for Jack after being kidnapped? Jack is going to China? looking forward to seeing the next season. 😕

up until the chinese i thought the episode was the worst finale ever because there was a total lack of suspense. there was no real danger and you knew jack wasnt dying and it was obvious what he did with the pres. When he was kidnaped I at first assumed it was the presidents mystery men (who we still know nothing about) but it didnt make sense for them to go after jack so I liked that it was the Chinese, besides the fact that they just commited an act of War against America.

was it just me........or did it take only 8 min for them to kidnap jack...bring him in a big ars ship.....and in the middle of the ocean, and hes already beat up.......8 friggin minutes!?!?!?!

maybe the site where he was kidnapped was near a shipdock and they were escorting him while beating him up.

yea we dont know that, it was the middle of the ocean may have just been out in the ocean. They also could have landed a helicopter on a ship

I doubt it, But when they knocked him out with that crap I forgot that gives them a couple of hours for them to aboard a ship to Asia or something.

i am sorry but i completely disagree. I thought there was plenty of suspense from start to finish. I suppose you could say there was no real danger because hey you watched the episode then commented on it right? i know you're not anti-24 but just making a point. The final show-down with henderson was great and it was smart how jack gave him a gun which was not armed, he finally got revenge. The whole bringing logan to justice thing was also done pretty well, i also knew that there was another plan because you simply cant bring a president to justice by threatening to put a bullet through his brain, but it was very well done. Just because you know something wont happen doesn't mean that it has to be completely boring. Yeah Jack Bauer's not going to die but if that ruins 24 for you entirely i am sorry this show might not be for you, of course they're gonna keep kiefer on the show it aint no show without kiefer.

I was kind of hoping that the " bluetooth gang" or graham's men would be assoicated with the kidnapping but as it turns out it were the chinese themselves. Which brings me to the point of how the chinese got to jack bauer. When logan said he'd take care of bauer he probably tipped off the chinese, that doesn't neccessarily mean that he told the chinese embassy guy directly himself. I dont know i hope we find that out.

As for the Jack Bauer geting into the ship in 10 minutes thing, well yeah that is one of the many times this seasons writers have been sloppy and kind of disregarded the real-time format. To them its just a gimmick now nothing more. Seldom do i get the feel of rush against time now. Its still an awesome show, i just disregard this factor because HEY if you're gonna b!tch on about that might as well say how the chinese got to jack bauer where you would expect the security to be tight since he tried to kill a president what just 30 min ago? I think these kind of little things need to be disregarded now because obviously David Fury doesn't give a shi! about the intelligent viewers of 24.

When i saw Jack Bauer's last scene of the season, for the first time i got the sense of resignation from him. I mean never have i seen him so bruised up before, never did he say this line before I KNOW HOW IT WORKS JUST KILL ME. that was a pretty sad scene if you ask me. Even when he got tortued in season 2 he had a sense of hope but even he knows now that the chinese will probably beat the crap out of him to get some kind of information from him, So jack basically just said just kill me now because i wont give you any information, atleast thats what i inferred from that line " you're far too valuable". Some people said that they could brainwash bauer i simply think thats false because a man with the honesty and loyalty of jack bauer cannot be broken or brain-washed. This sets up next season perfectly, i certainly hope they dont set it in l.a and focus on bauer getting out of prison or something of that magnitude. Enough of the terrorist threats, they need to slow them down. Bring back the rush of the real time format and start the show from its original roots, 24 is a well driven political thriller, not just a fun action roller coaster ride.

Agree. Coming up with Chinese is really a hot and trendy subject, Jack might go to Shanghai to save the country as the way Tom Cruise did in MI3, huh, an emerging superpower Vs. an existing superpower, super!

Absolutely loved the finale. A great end to a great season. In my opinion it's the show's best season yet...

I did call the Chinese showing up though... in fact I pretty much called that it would end with the Chinese from the very start of the season.

Can't wait for day six!

no i do agree with you a lot alic88, i just felt the logan stuff in the finale was a bit too obvious and not as suspensfull as past endings. This will definitely prove very interesting with 3 seasons now heavily linking major plot lines together (going into 07) hopefully the bluetooth gang as you called them isnt gone for good, and I agree with taking it a different direction with jack in chinese custody. They have given themselves a nice opportunity to throw some new things into the show.

Devil dodo you think this was the shows best?
I dont think ill ever be able to go away from season 1 as my favorite because it wasnt as abstract and insane and had crazy tension and the ending was just like HOLY SHIT NO!
Also because a lot of the big convernment conspiracy stuff was used in Season 2 this felt a little recycled. I did still like it, but couldnt give it my seal of #1

personally i felt like season two was the best season ( excluding the kim bauer plot) i hope that cougar finds her and eats her alive.

Unfortunately I didn't become a religious watcher until about the middle of Season 2. The show initially seemed like just a gimmick when it first started up so I didn't watch it. And they screened it here at crazy hours for the first few seasons...

I did watch bits of season 1 after a friend convinced me it was a decent show but I still haven't gone back and watched it all on DVD. I remember some of season 2, but not that much. I do remember I liked it though... Season 3 wasn't anything to write home about. I loved Season 4. What I like more about Season 4 is that it was kind of focused on just one evil bad guy. This time we had the hostage takeover at the beginning, then Bierko, then Henderson, then Logan, then Henderson again, then Bierko again, and then finally Logan again... and then the chinese... It's all a bit mish-mashy.

I'm not sure what it is about this season but it has a quality to it that just surpasses season 4 for me. The characters in this season were great and the acting was superb, in my opinion... Of course Bauer and Chloe and Buchanin, but also all the new comers... Martha, Karen, Henderson, right up to Chloe's ex-husband... and of course Logan's front and center stage and Aaron's turn in the spotlight. All great characters...

Maybe it's just the excitement of just having seen it. Maybe I'll reconsider my position after I've had some time and gone back and rewatched the other seasons... But right now, yeah, I think it's the best season yet.

As for next season, don't forget also that the German government also has beef with Bauer for that whole 'wetlist' scenario...

^ i personally felt like season 4 was the weakest too. Each one to their own

season 2> Season 1> Season 5> Season 4> Season 3

The complex and far-reaching nature of this season means that any following season will have difficulty trumping it for audacity. Therefore, if the show continues, it will most probably be linked.

Holy f*ck! Who said that ^ ? The guys a god-damn genius!

Just got done watching it, thought it was great. The best episode of Day 5, although that's not saying much.

The 24 Film: Official Intel Is Here!
Twentieth Century Fox has closed a deal with 24 creators Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, as well as show-runner Howard Gordon, to turn the Fox nail-biter into a feature film. Under the agreement, Surnow and Cochran will pen the screenplay, with contributions from Gordon, and all three will produce the pic with Imagine's Brian Grazer. Thus far, no 24 cast members, Kiefer Sutherland included, have inked their own deals, but work on the script is expected to begin late this summer, with an eye on a spring/summer 2007 start date, during the TV series' hiatus. With the real-time aspect abandoned for the feature, globe-trotting for Jack et al is said to be a priority for the hush-hush plot.

I just got a chance to see the finale tonight...I've been busy.

I can't say I'm all that impressed. I wanted the hammer to fall hard of Logan...and the Chinese thing was all to predictable. I would have liked it better if they had just popped Jack and ended the series right there.

Yeah...I'm bitter, but I'm also bored as hell...so...maybe that's why it didn't do much for me.
