Some clown has started a petition to stop all sales of Doom III. If you go to petitiononline.com look on the top ten petitions menu and you will see it. This is what the guy is saying:
Doom 3 will contain satanistic sympols witch our precious youth will see! Some claims that they look more forward to doom 3 than the second coming of Jesus Christ. The madness and violence must stop NOW! Don't let ID Software ever release doom 3 or it won't be long before we'll have a youth full of devil woreshippers and another columbine highschool situation

i heard that it's retailing for $55 dollars which is $5 more than usual, and that games like Doom 3 and Half Life 2 are going to be the cause of this trend to bump games up an additional $5.
i think the only games that should cost that kind of money should have a lot of replay value. Most games are only good the 1st time through...
lmao.. a columbine from doom3 ? thats damn retarded.... its because other parents dont have a god damned bit of sense to teach thier children to be kind to other children... thats what leads to columbine.. not electronic forms of entertainment... I've had many a disgusting run-in with highschool people who threw things at me and what not.. but I never ran off gunning them down. I'll probably check CompUSA and then Fry's first. I'm more in the Magnolia/Bushard area. So closer to FV.
That's not far from where I am.... Fry's may have it, but your first stops should be gamestops or Eb Games near you. That's where I got mine.
You may also want to try Best Buy or Target as a last resort. I don't know if places are sold out, I got the game before it was technically released, so not many people new about it. Good luck to you my friend.
I am so fu*ckin pissed. I wish i couldplay this game. The only game that i was looking forward to i cannot play. Now i have to wait untill Late september, or early November untill i can play a decent game. I wont be playing video games for a few months i see.
