It'd be even easier for Cyclops to land a direct blow against Wolvie, sending him flying through the wall of the building they're in.

Given that they're probably about 10 feet apart from each other (I'm just imagining a home setting), if they both start at the same time, Cyclops will be able to fire and hit Wolverine before Wolvie reaches him. You forget, when in attack mode (WHICH HE CLEARLY IS IN RIGHT NOW), Cyke's hand doesn't leave his visor (unless he's fighting hand to hand). His hand will already be there. And will pop Logan before he can make his initial growl.

10/10 was a little harsh, but I don't see Scott taking him in anything under 20ft.

Logan is FAST, faster than Scott and fast enough to evade the first blast to counter. And all he needs is one counter.

Actually, Scott doesn't need to touch his visor to blast, he's got a control device in his glove. Little known factoid 😄

Still, I don't see him taking it this close. And Scott won't have time to take his visor off.

Plus, in THIS scenario, Jean is next to Logan, Scott wouldn't risk hitting her.

I knew that he has the control in his glove. I was just basically going for his usual form of combat, however. Do you REALLY think Cyke will miss Wolverine from 10 feet away? Seriously, man.

Scott is a monster with his accuracy. He could blast a fly off of Jean's nose. He won't be damaging her in the slightest. All he'll do is send Wolverine flying into the next building.

There's just no way Wolverine can react fast enough, even that close, to dodge a powerful optic blast from Cyke.

I dont see how there is an argument for Wolverine's favor. All Cyke needs is one shot, the hardest part of the fight for him would be concentrating on looking at Wolverine for an extended period of time.

If he is really pissed, hed whip the visor off, all he has to do to get a win is LOOK at Wolverine.

Cyclops won't pass out that fast. With an established distance, Cyclops wins. He has enough power and a sharp aim to take out Wolverine permanently. It was during the X-Men's capture at Murderworld when Cyclops enountered a brainwashed Colossus, he was afraid that if he used full power he could cripple Colossus.

If within a decently close range (say 15, maybe 20 feet), Wolveirne has a chance to take out Cyclops.

dude what happen when wolverine was was being controlled bye saron he doge scots blast started beating scots ass and was about to kill him but snapped but held back cuz he started getting control of his mind back. scot so wolverine was hazatating but he said he has to hit him full blast or wolverine won't even be fazed. he hit wolverine full blast it did not even nock wolverine out.

I have yet to see any intelligent and/or comprehendable counter debates in Wolverine's favor.

Cyke wins this one easier than he would against Squidboy.
