No no. It's not so much the brass knuckles, as it is their position on the hand. They're solid protrusions from the hand. Because they are thinner than a fist (and just as solid), they cause more damage on the spots that they hit. The damage is not spread out across the fist, but instead it's all centered on where the thinner, less-surface-area brass knuckles connect.

If someone had "bone" knuckles (brass knuckles but composed of bone instead) the effects would be the exact same. It's really just the protrusion that causes the damage.

What does more damage:

The Wood Bat or the metal bat?

Hit with the same force? Everything else remaining constant?

They both cause the same amount of damage since neither of them give at all in those current states.

If we're talking claws, then yes. Adamantium is FAR superior. Becuase bones will eventually break when stabbed into something stronger than them.

I was talking strictly knuckles (punches, basically). More concussive attacks, such as punching is. Not slicing or piercing.

Again. I think we're thinking of different things.

I was referring to a punch given to a person. As in...a punch to the face.

Whether it be bone or adamantium knuckles, it will be just as damaging.

But the bone might as well be stone/rock, whatever. Yes, it CAN break, but it most likely won't. It might as well be metal when you hit someone in the face.

The metal doesn't do anything different, since it's just taking the place of his bones.

In a roundabout way...I was getting to that point.

Say cyclops, at close distance, misses his little blast, then wolverine gets in on his side (gievn logan's speed), and rips his side open in one swipe.

Or logan punches him one time with even half of his power(strength+speed+weight+martial-arts skill=)cyclops is killed if hit in the head, injuried severly if hit in the torso.

Then, knowing wolverine he won't hesitate to kill him quick.

In fact, the first blow will most likely be a kill blow.

Cyclops only really has one chance to hit him at such close speeds, logan is a hard man to hit.

Looking at him might hit him with blast, but it can also miss, cyclops won't even have the relfex time to turn his head for another shot cause logan would already be slicing him apart.
The only thing he could hope is to get one good blast in, which logan will heal from inside of 2 minutes, if that long.

That's just it. I can't even "say" that. Cyclops is not going to miss the person-sized person only 10 feet from him. Wolverine is not Quicksilver. He has fast reflexes, yes, but not fast enough to dodge this near-light speed concussive blast from 10 feet away.

Wolvie doesn't have a chance of dodging at that distance. Even with his "peak human" speed.

Inhance human speed.

Any sense when is that optic blast light speed.

The shit is at best slightly over sound speed.

Logan dodges soundspeed bullets for breakfast.

Well, let's see. His optic blasts are light. So I'm under the assumption that they travel light speed. Basically as fast as Superman's heat vision.
