Maybe... 😛

That is comparing apples to oranges. Besides the fact that it could be argued that Wolverine beating the Hulk is PIS. You have to use logic and present a convincing case as to why Wolverine would win this fight.

Well, name a guy who Cyclops has beaten, but Wolverine hasn't.

All Cyclops has to do is take off his ruby-quartz lense and look at Wolverine.

No aiming or skill needed for that......just looks at him and it's over.....

What does that have to do with anything? They are fighting eachother, not their enemies... 🤨

I don't think It'd be that easy.

I'm just curious as to if there is someone who Cyclops has beaten and Wolverine hasn't.

Mr. Sinister.

Yes, it is. The blasts come from his eyes and move with the speed of light. All he has to do is to look at Wolverine. Easiest power ever.

yes it will.

wolverine is not fast enough to dodge that.
it may not kill him, but he'll be out for quite a while.

That isn't the way fights are typically argued on this forum. Because the main priorties of writers are to tell a story (or sometimes hype a popular character) not show a logical, realistic fight. Whoever wins depends on the story not on the abilities of the characters.

We have all seen writers introduce a new character and in order to create hype for him/her they have the newbie hand out an impressive
beating to pre-established characters. However, once this is over the new character rarely reaches the level of power they previously displayed.

That is why logical and objective arguments are preferred.

Yea, sorry about that. I just saw your response to DC's post. 🙁
I thought you meant that as a serious argument, my bad.

It's okay. I think that on certain days and certain forms of the characters (Ultimate, 616, etc.) could beat each other senseless. Wolverine has withstood a barage of bullets and got back up within like a minute before (Ultimate). At point blank range no less! I think that is more devastating than Cyclops rays.

And if it's not, then i apologize in advance!

Submachine gun fire can't knock down Forrest and sentinels in a second though....

apology excepted 🙂

C'mon though! You have to admit that different versions of the characters would knock the crap out of each other!

Well it depends on how far Cyke opens his visor. Since he can vary the power of his optic blast, then Wolverine would be able to take some of the weaker blasts.

However, this is the true level of destruction that Cyke's optic blast can cause when the visor isn't in the way:

This is what some of us are saying Wolverine couldn't stand up to.

IMO, writers have the fights between them be so close for dramatic effect and to increase the natural tension that they have, not because their powers would create a close fight.
