curious? Why is there so much Wolverine bashing? Though I so understand that lately he has been written to be able to do things that are PIS, but isn't that the thing with every comic book.
In case the bashers don't realize, a character is made to sell to the audience, the more popular the character, the more that it added to him to boost the sales of the comic, but he is not the only character who has been subject to this development in comics. Take Superman for instance, in the original days his power was pretty tame compared to later overhauls of his character. Because of his popularity at the times, he was written more in tune for the selling of the books. Another is Spiderman, I have read comic to where Spiderman was able to battle most of the X-men in the secret war. Just look at the overhauls of the Batman character. Each of them are written according to fanbase. This doesn't mean that I am a fanboy of Wolverine but I do acknowledge his popularity at the moment because it would be hypocritical to not accept him but to accept the other characters in comic book history that have gone through these changes because of there popularity.
