I've been reading the manga since it first appeared in Shonen Jump (the Japanese one) and I like it plenty... even though the last dozen or so arcs have been boring. The anime is bad, even the Japanese version, the North American version is a monstrosity (although still better then One Piece)
I ussually don't like things like Naruto... it is a cookie cutter manga.

That's only in the american anime. They had to do something to turn it into a watered down basterdized verison of it's Japanese couter part.
