YA Iam sure Surfer will stalemate Thor. Then have a coversation in the middle of the battle and sneak his board around Thor and hit in in the back of the neck.

Either way we've seen Odin set up fights with Bill to the death with Thor so there's a reason Odin got involved.

U think Odin hit surfer because Thor he got a cut on his forehead that healed two pages later? Surfer threatened Odin then Thor hit him. They fight a bit and Thor knocks Surfer close to Odin. Did u expect Odin to stand there?

Yes, when two are locked in combat it's cowardly to jump into a fight just because he feared for his son's well being because Thor was stupid enough to headbutt the surfer.
