Don't see why that's supposed to be so impressive.

Stronger blows that have actually HURT him (Thor hurt no one but himself), didn't dent him in the past. It's just this writer's interpretation, nothing more.

If Fraction was writing Thanos doing the headbutting in this story instead, Surfer's face would be completely unrecognizable.

Preview = two characters starting up as usual: one gets riled up and physical; the other stays cool & lets himself get knocked around. Neither got really hurt.

I think that's exactly what's gonna happen. I called it a month or so ago when I found out they were gonna go at it.

I bet Odin probably winds up getting a slight upper hand as Galactus gets weak from the encounter and needs to feast.

In fact according to one of the previews, Odin and Galactus meet in private and have a conversation. Why would Galactus do that with someone he views as beneath him? Surfer and Galactus fans get ready for a BIG upset.

I find that scenario unlikely. Chances are, Thor threw Mjolnir close to the board/feet area, knocking it out from under him.

Even more unlikely imo.

His head is caved in compared to previous panels. Coipel is not prone to such inconsistent figures. At least on Thor.
