FC: Zlatan Ibrahimovici chose Iraola (Athletico Madrid) and Chiquinho (Santos) because theyre, imo, 2 of the best wing backs in the game... although i honestly did struggle to think of a left back that fitted my exact idea behind their play.
Reason i chose both Xabi Alonso and Gerrard or Carrick in DMC positions is because not only are they decent defensively for that position, they also have such massive quality in their passing accuracy and range, they're practically deep play makers, while also being able to cover the corners to compensate for the wing backs.
The Attacking half of the midfield five (Juninho, Ronaldhino and Joaquin) speaks for itself really, such goalscoring and providing potential.
Since this is a wide style team (wing backs and attacking midfield wingers) i chose Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front because he can head the ball as well as being able to thrive off Ronaldhino's through balls etc.--------------Robinson--------------

Juninho is a brilliant player. But Ibrahimovic would not be a good choice for a lone man upfront. You need somebody who is not a flash act. You need a player who is very strong physically and able to head the ball and set it off perfectly to the supporting players.

i prefer alonso to gerrard personally, i think he's a far better player...
and henry is too inconsistent in my eyes, and his biggest failing to me is that when he plays well, he scores, when he doesnt play well, he rarely scores...
players like nistelrooy, owen and the like can have a shite match and still nick goals...
The arguements surrounding alonso and Gerard are common due to them both having qualities which are vital for their position. Alonso possesses argueably the best passing abilty in the premiership, a good tackler and stamina.
Gerard has great drive, and an eye for goal. He has the abilty to split open defences and produce brilliant passes. However Gerard is often late into tackles and tries crossfield balls which go astray alot of the time.
Alonso's passing is 90% of the time playstation like, rarely does he waste possesion of the ball. Gerard is obviously a very influencial player, he can put in brilliant performances but I feel that he could reduce the amount of long range passes that he tries as 50% of the time they go wrong.
To be honest it depends on what you prefer, a player who is consistent and does not waste possesion and can create things, tackle well but safely, or a player who can drive forward as ana extra attacker with an engine which doesn't run out.

I am an Arsenal fan and normally stick up for players on the team. But since January last year Jose Antonio Reyes has been terrible. He never seems to play the right pass and when watching him play it seems as if he finds it hard to play the simplest of passes.
The midweek game against Wigan which we lost on aggregate, Reyes was absolutely diabolical. He really needs to concentrate more and pick up his act. Arsene Wenger obviously sees something in him which at this present moment I do not.
I don't doubt Wenger because he has faith in the lad, but he really needs to start performing fast because Arsenal fans, like me are beginning to question him and whether he was worth the £17M we paid for him.
