First off you're demeaning his talent by saying "He just scores goals and sets them up sometimes". You could say Ronaldinho "just scores goals and sets them up sometimes", but you wouldn't do that because the calibre at which he does those things would not have been dealt justice.
The goals Henry scores and the goals he sets up are much better than anything Lampard could produce, he boosts the team's morale all the time.
When Lampard can come back, take the ball off one of the world's best players and then beat 3 men and score, I'll call him a better player. Until he can do that on a regular basis, I won't.

But Lampard does score magnificant goals regularly, supply them even more regularly, offer defensive support, great team captaincy and unquestionably high talent.
He is a greater football player than Henry, you could stick Lampard at any position in a team and he would perform to a high standard, i couldnt say the same for Henry... theyre completely different players like Deano said, but Lampard is, imo, and with solid justification, the better footballer

Maybe we're both slightly biased because I support Arsenal and you hate Arsenal.
Though to be fair, I'll always put Henry over many players. I think he's the premiership's best player by far.

Henry is a great player, and 2-3 years ago i'd say he was the best in the premiership, but i think Lampard is better now. and i hate Chelsea almost as much as Arsenal

I second that. He sometimes has a problem with rising to the occasion, but on his day he's invincible. And he's much more exciting to watch than Lampard, although that's probably Chelsea's fault rather than his.
But even he can't put a scratch on the veritable soccer titan that is Brian McBride.
