For good emo, see The End Of Julia, Armor For Sleep, A Static Lullaby, The Early November and The Juliana Theory. The first and last bands in that list especially.

And I don't like what MTV tells me to, cuz all MTV is is stupid reality shows. A lot of the artists I mentioned are not what a lot of people like so who am I listening to when I pick them as my fav.
Also, I like most of those bands because you can their cds easily and cheap (like at a PX which doesn't have that big of a selection).

p.s. when did MTV ever mention Insane Clown Posse and since when are they mainstream?

Of course Insane Clown Posse are mainstream, their fanbase consists almost entirely of little white teenage boys and girls who know very little about music (hip-hop in particular). Point is, if ICP weren't mainstream, none of their fans would have heard of them.

For the record, Simple Plan aren't emo. They're a wannabe punk band.

I like Linkin Park. I really like the Collision Course Cd with Jay-Z.

Some of Linkin Park's older stuff was OK. The stuff they did with Jay Z just bumped them down a few notches.
