Venom vs Carnage(and other series)

i'm interested as to how the symbiote is gonna affect the (spoiler?) police officer, will it corrupt him? the closest we've seen to a peacekeeper type was spidey.

emm....am i the only one who noticed that black cat acts like she doesn't know who carnage and venom are? (2nd issue) she reacted as if this were her first time witnesing the two, BUT she was in the maximum carnage storyline and interacted with both venom AND carnage...theories,anyone??

i think they just want it to be part of a "new continuity", where the only thing that has happened thus far is.... Carnage exists and was spawned from venom... venom is using the suit (well, is actually THE suit, half anyway) that spidey once used and is an alien, spidey is a good guy, and black cat is hot. Thats about all the info that is needed. Other than that, black cat is clueless, having never fought the two sym's, and spidey and those two have always fought...

I knew they had canceled the book, I also knew that they were to finish the last arc--I also know that Marvel's site says it HAS been released, I, know, too, that diamond and other sites I checked do not acknowlege the release on their lists, AND I know that Mystique's book, of the same line, and dated and numbered the same as the Venom title, IS on the shelves, though the last Venom book is conspicuouly absent from every shelf I've visited--which has only been 3, but still!

This just straight irks me.

I still haven't been able to find it on any of the IRC circuits... most bots have a really lacking Venom folder, usually only as far as issue 12 or 13. I guess it didn't go down well with some people. Still, it'll turn up eventually, no doubt.
