In the mean time, Vash, they'll want a blow from you! And you may want to think about defensive actions also!
Galder, you strike, but your reflexes are already slowed. Again, the Captain uses Parry in his defence, and again, he catches your sabre in his whip.
Rianna, your one will parry as well. You roll evens, but it is not enough.
(Ok, obviously my hint was too subtle. What I meant above was, you are taking too long to kill the Captains. In the time it will take you to kill them, you will all be dead! You must reduce the number of attackers! Even impaired, Galder still has a more than 50/50 chance of hitting one of them and he can kill any of them in two hits. Any of the rest of you can probably kill in two hits if you hit well enough. The Captains, meanwhile, are perfectly happy to spend all their time defending themselves whilst their teams kill you- they are not picky about how you are killed.)
Good news is- Galder, you may attack again, as you are still ahead of the Osokans.
Rah, you attack the same Captain (poor guy!). Well, he will Parry again!
Well, the dice had to come around this way eventuall. You roll +5, Rah, and score a hit! Only just, though! Another 11 damage to that Captain...
... which means he is impaired! Your feint works, Rah, and you slash viciously into his midriff. Actually, you are amazed he still stands- that would have eviscerated a human.
Well, that Captain, at least, is in trouble then- mind you, you have been double-teaming him (hint hint...).
Actually, sod hinting. Don't spread your firepower too widely! Obviously you cannot all attack the same person, but this is the sort of foe where trying to get the biggest kill count comes second place to simply concentrating on reducing their numbers by teamwork.
BTW, does ANYONE have Emotions? It would be VERY handy!

Ok, I want to do the Osokan attacks, but that would be cruel as not many defences have been posted. Besides which, Galder and Vash can act ahead of them still and you guys need breaks.
So a reminder- you are likely to face between three and five attacks, may I have your planned defences, if any?
As for escape... the centre crowd is surrounded, so you may want to consider that.
You don't actually use throw to throw people, Rand, and as I said earlier, only enough debris around here to use Throw to attack one person at a time.
Ok, Galder, you spin and lash out. Your target dodges, as ever. And sadly, you roll -3... a miss!
Vash then moves in making him dodge again. Vash rolls +6, and a very handy time to do so! That is an 18, a hit by five, and 19 damage to that one!
Ok, time for the Osokans to strike. A couple of them have been defending and so do not attack. So that is five attacks on Rah, Rianna and Rand, four on Tanic and Takuan, and three each on Galder and Vash. Included in that are Captains attacking Galder, Rand and Rianna. That leaves one Captain and one Hunter who will take their attacks later.
Right, let's take this in order again!
First, Rand. We have one dodge (I asusme a Force dodge? Please specify!) against the Captain from Rand, and no other defences. Well, the Captain lashes at you first, rolling a +3. Nice try! But your dodge gets you out of the way, just. Four others move in... but you manage to fend them off, this time.
Galder is next, who plans to frantically Riposte. The Captain attacks first, twirling his whip a couple of times before moving in. He rolls +4, for a 17... a hit! Another eight damage to Galder, and that is serious trouble. Galder takes his Riposte, but now he is imapired again and at -2 to hit as the Riposted attack hit, the Captain wonlt even bother dodging.
Heh, that was a mistake- Galder rolls +2 for a 13, and hits anyway! Oh well, those are the breaks! That is a dead on hit, and so ten damage to that Captain.
Then, two other attacks on Galder. A +1 and an evens both miss, and Galder's Riposte goes at them both (exhausting his force pool in the process). Bopth targets dodge against that... with the Neurowhip slowing him, the first attacks misses but the second is a dead on hit, for 18 damage! Galder is a whirling menace right now of dodging blows and then returning them! But he is wearing out.
Now Takuan. He takes a dodge against the first attack, and can only hope against the others. He does dodge the first, but it is the third one that strikes home, for another 7 damage. Gah! You can fele yourself slowing as well, Takuan.
Rah dodges his first attacker also. Good choice- he rolls +5 for a 16, and you just raised your dodge to 17... he JUST misses! And now come the others... Uh-oh, one of them rolls +6, for a 17. Another incoming hit! That is nine damage, but at this point Rah blows ALL his force pool on evade, throwing himself out the way and reducing that damage to one.
Then Tanic. I don't seem to have any defensive actions from him. Well, here goes... his final assailant rolls a+5 for a 16- a hit! Nine damage to Tanic, now likewise slowed...
Now Vash, who also plans a mass riposte. The attacks on him are evens, +2, evens- all misses! Ok, so now he attacks back. His opponents all dodge. He rolls evens, +2, +1. He needed +1 to hit them whilst dodging (with his impairment) so the second two are hits! One hit for 15, another for 14. Vash is also now force exhausted.
Finally Rianna, whom I have just the one defence for, which is a riposte. I shall assume against the Captain. He rolls evens- a miss. Her other assailants whip all around her, one rolling a +6 for a 17... another hit! 11 damage to Rianna, and she is immeditaly impaired by the whip. Her Riposte is Parried by the Captain, and again her blade is entangled. Mind you, that Captain is out of Combat Pool now!
Ok, phew!
Now, Takuan wants to attack that Captain in the centre (now on 26 damage), but he cannot get there, it is too crowded now. He'll need a new target.
Rand makes a throw attack on the Captain- he'll dodge, with a standard dodge. Rand rolls -2- the piece of debris goes clattering to one side as the Captain hurls himself to the other side before getting to his feet.
Another Osokan then takes an attack on Vash, but he misses.

Ok then! Most of the Osokans attack on 8, but a few are down to 7. Vash and Galder's barrage of ripostes have spread a lot of damage among the Southern crowd- if they can just convert them to kills!
Meanwhile, I note some people with Carnivial of Carnage- VERY useful for trying to clear these guys- are only attacking the Captains, and so wasting it. Though I guess it is a point of pride killing that one on 26 damage now.
Acting before the Osokans this time are: Takuan, Rah, Tanic, Vash and Rianna.
As ever, acting or not, I'll need defensive actions.
