USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

i see...when you said i feel slowed..i thought they affect my speed.

What a good idea! No, that would be too cruel...

However, I have made an error. Tanic's shots against those Osokans shoulkd have done two more damage a-piece- the Osokans are at -2 to dodge against Guns skill (unlike Lightsabres, neurowhips don't repel fire and even if they did you need Force Sense to anticipate balster fire to deflect it).

I'll check out his targets and increase their damage next update.

(Vash, you and I should wipe out the Osokans around us, THEN head for the Captain!)

Galder slashes down on the Osokan that Vash wounded.

You'll have to wait a tad, I am afraid, Galder- all that riposting took time. Vash missed a blow earlier so he can go again now.

Don't forget your defences, Galder. As you are out of Force, it is now active dodge or nothing.

I attack the same Osokan again.

ANNOUNCMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have come up with a way to fight these bastages! DO NOT go for the Captain just yet! Instead, wipe out all the super-mook pigs! They are much easier to kill, and there will be less attacks once they are gone! THEN we can all storm the Captains!

Well, he will dodge again...

You roll +3, Vash, for a total of 15. A hit! 16 damage in total, on to the 19 already done to him, is a kill! You slash, a long slice from hip to shoulder, and the Osokan snarls and falls backwards.

Any defensive actions planned? As with Galder, it is active dodge or nothing for you now.

I'll just do an active dodge...

(Like my plan, Ush?)

Active dodge indeed, Ush.

Sounds fair enough to me, Galder. I especially like bastages.

How many? You have three assailants each still (though remember 3 dodges puts you on an eternal dodge loop)

Just two, against El Capitan and another.

Two for me as well.

Though I guess it is a point of pride killing that one on 26 damage now.

Damn straight. Though I think I will take a break from attacking him for the moment...

I will attack the Osokan Hunter that's on 21 damage. And hopefully take him out.

Defense: 1 Riposte, 1 Active Dodge.

Ok, Rianna. Well, he will dodge. With your CoC levels, of course, this only takes you two frames. You roll +3 for a 16. A definite hit, and with all things factored in, that is 21 damage, doubling his current deal, and certainly enough to take him down. A lightning-quick slash from you slits him open, and he crumples down.

Trickster seems to be absent right now... well, we are waiting for Rah as well. Best give it more time. Don't forget defences, for those who have not posted any!

ok..i probably won't be able to post until tomorrow so...
defense : dodge force 3

and a slash at one of the osokan hunters......at a damaged one, if there are any left in the center.

Attack Without pausing Rah follows his nifty Evade by getting straight back in. With his blades whirling he uses CoC on the nearest two super-mooks one blade attacking one the other blade the other.

Defense Using his natural acrobatic skill Rah ducks and dodges to keep out of reach of those whips.

I understand Trickster is having connection troubles right now... shame.

Ok, Rah, that is a split attack with -2 to hit and they shall both dodge. Odds very much against you there, and indeed, they both fend off your attack.

Not really sure what your defence their meant, so I will treat it as an active dodge against every attack made on you.

Ok, Osokan time! Three each on Vash and Galder, including a Captain on Galder. 22 attackers in the middle- four attacks on each of you, and Captains striking at Rand and Rah.

In order again:

No defences from Rand... The Captain rolls -1, a miss. However, one of his minions rolls +6 for a 17, which is a hit! 11 damage to Rand, and that puts him at a critical point, one short of the whips paralyzing him as he starts to convulse.

Then Galder, who dodges the Captain's blow, wisely, and remains unharmed but rather busy defending himself!

Takuan dodges his first assailant, and manages to stay free from harm for now...

Rah dodges like crazy! He JUST gets out the way of the Captain's attack, and stays clear of the others but is now very much framed out.

As Tanic is not here, I will have him dodge all five attacks. However, a +5 is a hit, dealing him another eight damage. Tanic is now double wounded AND double whip impaired, leaving him barely capable of action at all.

Vash dodges like Galder. Sadly this turns out to be over cautious as the attacks all missed anyway, but better safe than sorry.

Finally Rianna. Best blow against her as a +2, so she stays safe, and then she gets to do her riposte! Her target dodges, of course, but Rianna rolls a handy +3 for a hit, and 22 damage as she semi-impales an atacker by reflex!

Not good. Actions now only from Rand, Galder, Tanic and Rianna before the Osokans strike again, which means dodges from the rest, please.

Galder spins and decapitates the Osokan hunter with 14 damage with fury, angry and numb.

(Is it possible for Rand to retreat with a Force Jump?)

Rand, convulsing, tries to drive his blade into the Captain that had been assailing him.

If you made it, yes, but they would get a load of free attacks on you. You want Defensive Leap.

You attacked the Captain??? In your state that's very unlikely, and wasting your CofC again. Well, he'll just parry again, and you miss by miles. And people are failing to post defences...

Galder, your target dodges, but you roll evens for a hit. Unfortunately, that is 'only' 18 damage, which brings him to 32- he's still standing, despite the slash you put through him.
