Normally, doom should win, his armor is more avanced, much more avenced, has better weapons on it, and he is more intelligent than vader. Vader weapons like light saber couldnt do too much to doom. I have only a doubt, could vader control of the force hurts doom? could him cut his breathing? because vader couldnt beat the armor, but im not sure if in a fight without preparation time he could beat the man behind the armor.
I wont to underrated vader as that centauri has made, because is stupid. This guy needs to atacks another characters only for defending doom, what is childish. Doom is legendary in the comics, vader is legendary in cinema. Doom is a great scientist and wizard, vader is a greatest jedi knight and a great pilot. And both are legendary villains in their mediums. To underrated vader for defending doom is stupid.

First of all, any of doom weapons exceed iron man weapons, only his force field could be a little bit better and maybe some deffensive ressources.
Second, surely than doom is superior to vader and he should win the battle, because doom armor is too mucho for vader, but im not sure if doom's magic is better than vader's force.
a competent user of the force can snap a humans neck with a thought...... he may not have done exactly that in the films (he was only on screen a short time) but in the novels Jedi powers are explored in more detail..... one unlucky person even gets suspended in mid air and has all his bones cruhed by a force wielder......(i don't remember who it was)

Yeah exactly, thanks for proving my point. Yoda said it himself, anyone strong enough can overcome the darkside of the force. It takes someone weak of mind and soul to succumb to it. Doom is neither.
I never said it was a fact, I said ", as proven". Proven by what? Movies. He used the force on someone strong, failed and died.

Vader was taught the ways of the Jedi far too late. He easily succumbed to the dark side due to his poor handling of his many emotions. Abilities such as choke hold, telekinetic lifting limitations, etc. will merely remain speculative on true potential as instant kills wouldn't make much of a good plot within the Star Wars series. Based on what he's shown in the movies, there seems little proof of him winning against the likes of Dr. Doom. Still, that doesn't stop me from anticipating some good action from Vader in episode 3.

There are people like you, who just simply and understandably have Dr. Doom as a favorite supervillian, and a great super villain he is. He didn't use it to win the fight. He used it to throw objects at Luke. Luke doesn't have any protection, any armour or any forcefield. So it worked.

Sith Lords can mentally block a psionic attack of any kind? Even that of the Marvel Universe? I sincerely doubt it. George Lucas didn't sit there thinking "Hmm........just incase Phoenix pops up, we'll make them the best at telepathy.
