OFFICIAL: POA MOVIE DISCUSSION [merged] **SPOILERS**

Started by BOPRecruit 1640 pages

sadly, that rarely happens with page to screen movies. *sigh* esp. with harry potter. they need people like the crew that peter jackson, sam raimi, and/or stephen sommer's have worked with to really draw out the story and all the details wonderfully. that won't happen ever, just saying.

lol yea i know that would never happen..i just put it up there because i thought it was cool to have in mind...thats all..

well, that's what i think of what i'm posting.

hey people! let us discuss that brilliant hermione's punch to draco

i loved that scene

So did I! 😄 Girl power! 😉 Draco was really acting like a baby all the way through the film, wasn't he? Letting himself get beat up by a girl, and being scared of the 'ghost' at the shrieking shack

it's not really like him at all....
all the better 👿

yea i wonder if anything would happen to him in books 6 or 7...ya know what if him and harry have a full on duel or sumthing, and someone dies *hint hint..or maybe im just getting ahead of myself aye...lol

it was so awesome when i saw it in the theater, cuz everybody there started clapping when hermione punched draco...it was beautiful! 🙂

OK, I just saw PoA a few hours ago and thought it was good. The dementors looked great (and a lot like Nazgul, but I'm probaly not the first person to say that) Thye were truly frightening. The diviniation teacher was wacked up, which was good. Lupin looked cool, but his werewolf form looked a little weak. The boggart was funny. Buckbeak was amazing, but he looked a tad fake, but still cool. Hermonies (yeah, bad spelling) cat looked like crap. She needs a new kitty. Quiddich was pretty good.

The only problem I had with the movie was the end. It sucked balls. I didn't mind Harry getting the Firebolt at the end, but there should have been more of a conclusion. Wasn't the 3rd year when Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup?

shux yea...i went to the movies when the movie came out..the first day it came out..the first minute it came out in NZ lol...i was hoping they would show a scene with when Harry and Ron come back from Quidditch Practice and they were just trying out Harrys new Firebolt...and then they enterd the Great Hall i think it is where everyone was sitting..i dont know i thought it wouldve been cool just to see Harry walk in holding his Firebolt and everyone just glaring at him..lol..well that was me 💃

such a shame that rowling doesn't develop his character enough in and throughout the story. give him more depth than some royal git. if she did that, than possbily tom/draco can have a bigger role and a bit more screen time 😊 more tom the better! 😆 he was so damn fine in poa! 😍

it's really funny after harry and hermione go to the past, and they watch when hermione punches draco, harry says something like "that is a good punch" and hermione goes like "thanks"

^lol, definately...harrys all in shock cuz hermione just up and kicks some draco butt! 🙂

but my fave memory still has to be the whole theater cheering for hermione after her punch 🙂

I Like The Prisoner of Azkaban the best because you see more of the person him self with the normale (muggle) closes, And because there is lots girl power in this movie from Hermione!! 😄 👆 😈

who else thinks that skipping quidditch wasnt a good idea?

check this out

I saw HP3 the other day and a thought came to me.
"DID they use forced perspective for the main charcters in the movie?"

you know like how they did to make people look smaller and larger in LOTR.

Reason is because the actors are growing and getting taller than they should be in the book. ANd having just checked the height of some of the actors i believe so.

Radcliffe is 5' 7" (1.70 m) tall, Felton is 6' 1" (1.85 m) and Watson is 5'5(1.65m) and McMillan( Hagrid) is 6'1 also.

But when together they look about the same height ( well except for hagrid)

SO what do u all think. did they use Forced Perspcetive for our young wizards in HP3?

yes i know they were younger in when they FILMED hp3 but, for the next HP, do u think that they will all look about the same height again?

Has anybody seen this? 🙂
