The cosmos has karma, and we are just a small insignificant part of that karma. Nothingness is not empty.

nothingness is empty when there really is nothing there. an ideal is nothing. just a thought pattern. there are only two things that are scientifically real, matter and energy. nothingness IS empty

Nothingness can not be empty, because empty suggests the lack of something and there is room in nothingness for anything, that is why it is full.

The meaning of life...
Is an exercise in futility. I see many topics dedicated to the meaning of life, who could blame them it is a very interesting question but I will explain why it cannot be answered. When I look at an ant..just an ordinary ant..it tells me alot of things about our lives, like ants we just do what we were designed to do, ants are designed to forage food protect the queen etc.. we were designed to eat and drink to keep our flesh and blood bodies alive, and find a mate. This is why people always search for their mate, why love is such a concern to all people even when they have abandoned all other dreams. Simply put its what we are supposed to do.
So now we have established we do what were supposed to do..well why do we have to do what were supposed to do? Why does the ant have to forage food? Why must it protect the queen? The queen and the ant itself die eventually anyway so why delay the inevitable? Why do we mate? To continue the species ofcourse but what does that have to do with you? And what if one day a meteor blows up earth and all that all organisms have worked for is destroyed in one simple unified extinction? Races have gone extinct before and to think humans are special and are protected from such a fate is arrogance, we are flesh and blood just like all other things its just we are intelligent and use this as an excuse to believe we are differant..we have souls..we will never die.. this is all sad to say a lie spawned by the need to overcome death that is genetically encoded in our brains. So back to the meaning of life why must we go through this? There is no answer we can know...I do believe in beings higher than ourself but they are totally beyond our comprehension, like an ant trying to understand the thoughts we humans possess. In all our knowledge there are so many things we do not yet understand, the universe is just the beggining.
Our ultimate meaning is beyond us and the best thing I can say to do with your life is do what your supposed to do, the women have feminity, the men have masculinity, the human mind is curious like all animals are and enjoys increasing knowledge and horizons so I recommend the pursuit of this as long as you dont dwell on the fact that so many things cannot be known. Finnaly ofcourse do what you all are so pleased with doing already 🙄 it may not have much higher purpose but whatever caused genetic coding wants you to do this special activity. And so I close my own personal thoughts on this matter, hoping that some of you might gain something from it and perhaps a clearer view on life. If you have constructive criticism it is welcome.

Not sure if you even read my post, this nihilistic view on life is an exercise in futility. I do agree though to an extent that life is not as important as everyone seems to think.
your post states that one should enjoy life. i completely agree. just stating that there is no meaning. i think we should do what we enjoy all the time, whenever we want and stop worrying about dying, purpose, principles, all that garbage. my point is life isnt some great driving force of the universe. life is there, that does not mean it needs a purpose. Mars exists, but does it serve some great meaning? no. alcohol exists, but does it have a meaning? no, it does not have any natural purpose.

If your were a flat lander, a 2 dimensional being, all you would know is forward, backward, left, and right. Up and down would not exist, and would be nothingness, and you would think that the nothingness was empty. We know that up and down are not empty, there is space. Nothingness is a direction we can not point. We, you and I, are flat landers and nothingness is a dimension we can not understand.

Let us say, you are right. Then you have a chose; you put your head down and walk dreadfully through your life with no meaning or you can decide that there is meaning and be happy and enjoy life, what do you have to loose? If you are right then at least your happy.
