I think it's clear what the meaning is, if anything. I think this thread has just got to a point now where people are just trying to make themselves look as if they have a valueable theory on the whole thing by typing an essay that someone has already said.

People get depressed if they think theres no point to there lives, everyone will get bored and commit suicide. I believe we all create our own purpose, we all have dreams adn we strive to accomplish them...it depends how far you wna go with this debate, some people are satisfied with having a temporary goal to work towards while others will demand to know wot the point of everything is, usually annoying children who just say 'Why?' to evrything you tell them!!. Set your own targets, then you know that you're capable of achieving them and you're more likely to be satisfied.

The meaning of life is Mystery, as proven by asking this very question.
