But one thing is for certain, all beings in this life seek happiness. Perhaps that is the goal for most, but that wouldnt make it a ''point''.
I am not too sure about that one anymore either. I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Henry Rollins. It seems that he goes out of his way to make his own life difficult. He, from what I gathered, couldn't help but feel that happiness made himself weak and would often put himself in tressfull situations or arrange undesirable schedules in order to minimize his comfort and hapiness. Strange, but it seems to work for him.

I agree with KharmaDog.
Be careful about doing that too often. Agreeing with me can get you in all sorts of hot water in this forum and you always run the risk of being called a sheep or group thinker when you agree with me. 😉

There seems to be a point in the human development where we stop looking out for the self and start caring about others exclusively. It is like we build our selves up to a point and then cast away that self for the sake of others. I believe that when a person has reached a stage of growth where they are truly able to see others as we see our selves, that person realizes that we are all one and that the treasures of this world are pale in comparison to the treasures that lie within all of us.

I think the point of life is recycling.Haha, I don't really. Just making a comedic chestnut out of KharmaDog more or less saying the same point after I said it.

In the future I will make it a point to stifle my own opinion if it so closely resembles an opinion of yours that previously posted.
I now understand that it was selfish of me to have my own opinion and desire to state it and I shall now close my desk drawers on my typing fingers to punish myself for such obvious stupidity and offensiveness.
